exactly, that is if the man has huge connection to prosecute the case in the court of justice

Unfortunately, I didn't watch up to the point where the guy mentioned what he did that attracted the military to demolish his house. That should've been the first place to start.

See the Nigerian Army, they will ignore fulani herdsmen but go after civilians.
This only happens with Southern Civilans

I understand the area very well. He unsuspectedly went and bought a lland inside a vary cast portion of land that belongs to the Nigerian Army. So many houses in that location suffered the same fate. Enogie should be held accountable because he knows fully well that the land is inside the Army barrack. I am saying this because I helped some people to escape similar fate that would have befallen them in that same location by simply doing a simple search before they were asked to pay. Just a paltry #30k would have saved him from this colossal loss!

The Nigerian Army can't come in and do this to your building without cogent reasons. Now if truly you are innocent, take this to court, you will win and will be compensated.

Whats the story? Army cant just come and demolish a completed house like that. Was the land in contention? Was he asked not to build there?

Anybody can post anything on Twitter but before a news can make it to front page here the mods will need to do some verification to confirm authenticity of the news, that's the major reason for the delay

The Nigerian Army does not have an inherent, unqualified right to demolish houses.

I personally believe that individuals of means should not purchase land for personal or commercial use in this country, and should instead look abroad for peace of mind, be it in Ghana or the Ivory Coast. The sheer ineptitude of the individuals tasked with the responsibility to properly delineate land for government use, as they sit in their offices asking for bribes and skirting around the purpose for which they were employed, is startling. The consequences to them are seemingly none, as the weight of their actions is borne solely the people to whom they failed to give proper warning, at the time that they should have.
