Maresca isn't tactiaclly smart, he's just barely average at best. To me it was even cos of the fact he rates flamengo high he decided to play this setup to tame them. But the thing is he overraters his tactical abilites. He's like the jackson for coaches

Their season is on. Same with other South American leagues... European teams have concluded their long gruelling seasons so you will expect the South Americans to be more sharp.
