4 of the last CONMEBOL Libertadores(South American champions league) were those Brazilian teams hence their qualification. If 4 different English team win the champions league as well they would qualify. The two clubs per league will still stands.

I thought they'll increase it to three or thereabout but the expanded version is same rule. Each country is fixed at two Just like this version. Unless 4 English teams win the UCL in the next four years, only two will go in 2029. The idea is to have more representative from other countries. So expect teams like Ajax, PSV, Fernebache, Galatassary, Celtic, Panathatkos, Red star, Club Bruge etc.

That's what I read from their Wikipedia page concerning the 2029 version. I hope it's changed though.

This CWC is totally different from the one people are used to. Previously european clubsjust wait to play one asian or african team in semis and then go to finals and win it easily with no sweat.

Now the format is like a fifa worldcup with the groupstage and knockout rounds. Also the price money is no joke.
