Since the nuclear non proliferation treaty,no other country is allowed to have nuclear weapons......you need to control it so it doesn't cause a disaster,imagine Niger or Colombia having a nuclear weapon.

the only difference is that Iran has been actively funding several non state actors in the region and supplying them weapons free of charge to destroy Israel and destabilize the region.
