Hello Nairalanders,

I stopped by Iyana Ipaja Bus Stop in Lagos and took two quick shots to show this busy transport hub just as it is — raw and unfiltered.

How often do you pass through here?
What comes to your mind when you see this place?
Any memories or interesting experiences at Iyana Ipaja?
What do you like or dislike about this area?

Feel free to share your thoughts!

I'm a born in Lagos Lagosian, I don't think I know where Iyana Ipaja is. I've been all over Lagos and I have a sense of where places are. Iv been to the road where the synagogue is I think igondo. MEn I don waka !! No be small waka. What My eyes have seen just to make money, but iv slowed down now ( or the Nigerian economy has slowed me down )
You can please add the larger area to Iyana Ipaja for example I'm in Surulere what I would say to anyone is Add Yaba or National Stadium so that anyone can have a sense of where
Surulere is. What I would do is do a Google search on where Iyana Ipaja is. When I'm driving on the road I hear conductors shouting " Iyana Ipaja " but iv never bothered to think of where it is. Opened Google maps and it's somewhere near Agege. Any way Iyana Ipaja is very popular. What's it like in Iyana Ipaja are there many women with big yansh there. If the answer is yes then I'll start going there often.

@KobolanderSegun

You’re right; Iyana Ipaja dey for mainland side, Alimosho LGA, close to Agege and Egbeda.

Meanwhile, Synagogue Church wey you mention dey for Ikotun-Egbe axis, around Ikotun Market and Bus Stop, still mainland but another part of Alimosho.

And about your last question... You go see wetin you dey find for Iyana Ipaja😀

It's just like many other places and bus stops in Lagos.

If Na Oshodi, Mushin, Isalẹ eko etc you mention now, I for talk.

I used to stay at Gowon Estate, iyana Ipaja is an always bustling and busy hub especially due to the presence of the plenty market and the many inter-state bus terminals lined up there.

This is normal in Lagos I don't think this is worst than Oshodi or Iyaoba bus stop in terms of being chaotic

Affordable accomodations, especially if you work around ikeja metropolis. Getting to ojo, alaba requires a bus hop.

Oshodi remains the centre of Lagos

The whole mainlands in Lagos State almost look alike , except for some little differences of you are an area in that side.....

So there is nothing interesting about the picture, just normal view of any other part of Lagos State....and the busy nature of Lagos State as well ..

My First time to Lagos, I refused to call my wards , I said I will surprise them and knock on their gate... I did but one conductor was so mad that he dropped my bag at almost center of main road in Oshodi , gave me my discount, entered the already moving bus and they zoomed off, I had to rush and pull my bags out of the road.... 😂 😂 😂....

Lagos State is for madt people abeg.....lols

It's actually a cool place... no problems. Always peaceful. The population here alone though, can populate some town. Trade and all that
