I'm a born in Lagos Lagosian, I don't think I know where Iyana Ipaja is. I've been all over Lagos and I have a sense of where places are. Iv been to the road where the synagogue is I think igondo. MEn I don waka !! No be small waka. What My eyes have seen just to make money, but iv slowed down now ( or the Nigerian economy has slowed me down )
You can please add the larger area to Iyana Ipaja for example I'm in Surulere what I would say to anyone is Add Yaba or National Stadium so that anyone can have a sense of where
Surulere is. What I would do is do a Google search on where Iyana Ipaja is. When I'm driving on the road I hear conductors shouting " Iyana Ipaja " but iv never bothered to think of where it is. Opened Google maps and it's somewhere near Agege. Any way Iyana Ipaja is very popular. What's it like in Iyana Ipaja are there many women with big yansh there. If the answer is yes then I'll start going there often.
You be Lagos lagosian, yet you no sabi Ìyànà Ipaja and Ikotun Ẹgbẹ, my brother, you no be bonafide lagosian except Na Epe full breed. Those two places are the most popular under the most populous LGA(Alimosho) in Nigeria, which is also the largest LGA in respect to landmass in Lagos

People hardly use this iyana ipaja fly over bridge. I don't know why. Majority prefer crossing the express road.
Too far away from where the bus stop is, and the expway is traffic congestion prone, so it's easy to walk across the road without having to run for upcoming vehicle

Wetin be you were born in lagos but you no know were ipaja is? And to.insult yourself further you de claim say you don waka. Thats saying you were born in lagos but dont know were oshodi is. You are stranger.

Even if you de ajah under bridge you go see direct iyana ipaja bus. Direct! ..thats how popular ipaja is. Only oshodi de enjoy such transportation royalty. And you say you no know were ipaja de yet want people to believe say you were born in lagos.
You people confuse iyanu ipaja with ipaja ...they are two different places ..although under alimosho lga

Hello Nairalanders,

I stopped by Iyana Ipaja Bus Stop in Lagos and took two quick shots to show this busy transport hub just as it is — raw and unfiltered.

How often do you pass through here?
What comes to your mind when you see this place?
Any memories or interesting experiences at Iyana Ipaja?
What do you like or dislike about this area?

Feel free to share your thoughts!
Don't knownif lagos is moving forward..or backward if u look at fashola BRT U WOULD HAVE PROJECTED THE GRADUAL FACING OUT OF THE YELLO BUSES BUT THEY ARE NOW BACK IN FULL FORCE.

Once I see Iyana Ipaja, I quickly remember Pastor Noah. He lives at Baruwa but stop axis.

One very radical pastor I know: Prayerful, prophetic, evangelistic , straight forward man.

God bless the work of God in your hand sir.

A full time Lagosian.

I have known iyana ipaja since the time of Old Abeokuta Express Way.

One of the most rowdy bustops in Lagos, Those stupid yellow buses stays on both Fast and Service lanes at Under Bridge and be picking up passengers which usually cause unnecessary gridlock. Very stupid pople😂

Pako
Adealu
Araromi
Iyana-Ipaja
Almaroof
Pleasure
Ile-Ipo
Super
Oja Oba
Abule-Egba

Make i stop here.

The funny thing is i don't like the State because it's too Crowdy and Stinks. Good for business but not conducive for healthy living.

I'm someone who loves Quiet and Serene Environment devoid of Crowd. I love being close to Nature as well.
Fixed.
That's between Super and Abule Egba bus stops.

This is normal in Lagos I don't think this is worst than Oshodi or Iyaoba bus stop in terms of being chaotic
.and ojuelegba, Yaba, Ikeja, mile 2, CMS, Lagos island, ojota .so there many areas are very busy in Lagos

If they can fix or rebuild the bus garage the place and traffic won't look too bad

It has a market just next to the bus garage that makes it looks rough.

Ipaja is actually peaceful especially the Federal estates there are well planned especially shagari estate, proper drainage. Gowon estate on the other hand fell off right from the get go, perhaps because majority of the first occupants were police or army personnel so they treated it like a barrack!

Very funny guys selling phones there,I could remember how a friend who bought a phone there had to keep going back there to complain of the phone he bought , they can never refund you, least they do is change the phone to another problematic phone and the circles continue till you give up and accept your loss.

Yes thanks for the fix.

I'm aware of Oja Oba busstop. I ommitted it because of it's complicated location. It's not on the straight lane of New Abeokuta Express Way. OjaOba is affiliated to Agege Motor Road when you look at the exact location.

When coming from Oshodi, Most buses do not stop there. Once they take off from Super, Climb the flyover, then it's Abuleegba straight. Same thing applies when they are coming from Sango Otta too.

It usually causes tensions between commuters and bus drivers. Once the passenger do not alight at either Super/Abuleegba, Na next bustop them go go drop the passenger😂

So to avoid this, When coming from Oshodi, One need to board a Bus going to Agege or Oja Oba precisely. Same things applies when coming from Sango Otta too.

Ipaja is not just the garage area by the way

All these ones na small Shege.

What my eyes have seen in this state due to peoples wickedness, It's enough to turn someone to Serial Criminal. But due my intelligence and human nature, It rather moulded me towards the opposite. Refined, Alert, High Intelligence, Street Smart.

iyana ipaja is one of the safest areas in Lagos due to the huge population of traders and motor touts who sleep there.
