Koboko Master Shuts Down Newly Commissioned Transcorp Event Centre With Outstanding Performance

One of Nigeria’s highly rated comedian, Mr. Gbadamasi ThankGod Benard, popularly known as Koboko Master has made history by becoming the first comedian to shut down the newly commissioned 5000-capacity event centre at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja with his annual Show "In Da Beginning" comedy show.

The event on June 15, 2025 had high profile guests, comprising big players in the entertainment industry, business executives, captains of industry and politically exposed persons.

He emerged the first comedian to attract guests that filled up the 5000-capacity hall to brim as fans were still rushing for table reservation at the last minute.

Also, renowned comedians such as Acapella, Akpororo, MC Edopikin and indeed the host, Koboko Master performed, putting up sterling performances that thrilled the guests.

Highly experienced in the business of cracking jokes, the host Koboko Master gave what was considered a perfect description of Adam and Eve on the stage banner graphics.

The star-studded event presented an opportunity for veteran Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah to make her first performance as a music artist. Her five-star performance thrilled the guests, leaving them crave for more.

Fans had a good laughter as the jokes were raining in droves, leaving them roll on the floor in excitement.

It also attracted massive publicity as big national television platforms and veteran entertainment journalists were in ground to capture the historic moment.

Hosting his event at the new facility and having top comedy idol Bovi introduce him on stage was viewed as a landmark achievement for Koboko Master who has over the years remained a household name in the country's comedy space.

He is one of the finest stand-up comedians in the country who has played in big stages and hosted successful comedy shows, including "collaborations with MC EdoPikin" show.
