I switched from 60Hz to 120Hz recently and the difference is very noticeable, especially in gaming

But G81 processor will make it play better at low graphics, might get hot faster at mid grpahics

Are there budget friendly devices with larger refresh rate than the realme C75X and what are they?

Samsung S21, and others are flagship device can't be compared to budget phones

I am considering between the realme C75 and the C75X, (price not being and issue) which would you recommend more

The realme C75x is the cheapest out of the phones you mentioned. So go for it if your budget is tight

Once you experience 120Hz, it’s hard to go back. The scrolling alone feels buttery smooth especially when switching between apps or gaming.

Funny thing is, some phones under 200K like the realme C75X are even coming with 120Hz now. Back then this was only on flagship phones.
