If the total actual millitary budget is actually spent on the millitary without their normal corruption, Nigeria should be N0. 1 in Africa. But let them first defeat boko haram and the bandits, then we are good to go. |

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that because there is Boko Haram and stuff, the military is weak. They are under orders not to escalate with heavy weaponry, in order to avoid mass civilian casualties. Absent of that, terrorists would be gone in 3 days. But for conventional warfare, military versus military, country vs country, Nigeria is 31st in the world, placing it above several European countries including Portugal, Switzerland, Greece etc, and 3rd in Africa. |

metaluterus:It's the leadership in the entire chain of command that's terrible and poor quality because they're like politicians now, greedy and corrupt. This bad leadership affects training, logistics, strategy and tactics, morale, effectiveness. |

….and some people believe we cannot run over Osrael if the US steps aside. The length of Israel is less than 5 hours and breadth less than 2 hours. If those Abokis gain access to the boarders, all living things in Israel will be dead in a month. |

I agree with this submission because of our numerical strength as a country i.e our population asides that, it's a debatable issue. |

Check well oo. A military still struggling with local terrorists and bandits should not be 3rd on the list. |
