There's nothing in New Zealand other than a holiday. I would say start your life in Nigeria. Forget about marriage and invest in a nice home somewhere reasonable. So far, this is the only sensible advice but 5m can actually take him to New Zealand but he needs to be smart to keep up because the money can't keep him up there .

I can route you to a good African country to hustle and double your money for at least 18 months then you can advance your journey to the western countries or return home to settle with fund enough to keep you in business and buy you a land and a car and if you are smart in business ,you can start building your house and marry simple and cheap.

Look for a Major company you can invest in their business, Agree on an MOA for a specific percentage for a period of time and get your profits from the investment. It's an opinion tho
