| Re: Air Peace Acquires A New Airplane by Ashirioluwa: 12:07am On Jun 24, 2025 |
mbanomix:No, it is not a brand new plane. That plane is 19 years old. The same plane was first delivered to Flybe Airline in 2006. The plane has been used by 7 different airlines before Air Peace bought it in June 2025. See the plane history from the attachment.

mbanomix:I know that it's better than none, but stop calling a 19-year old plane brand new. Do your research. Santalpharay:Points I have laid out and you have no reasonable point to counter it. It’s a TOKUNBO jet! |
| Re: Air Peace Acquires A New Airplane by Nobody: 1:00am On Jun 24, 2025 |
Santalpharay:Both are Tokunbo! Something the FG did and we all castigated them for doing so. Let’s call out when we have to. “Air Peace add to their fleets” is a good caption. Not deceiving customers by adding “NEW” You cannot tell me a 2022 Corolla is new. We have 2024. Even that same jet has a latest series. |

CoronaVirusPro:Are you comparing a non-existent Nigeria Air to Air Peace which is the biggest airline in West Africa?! This is absolutely ridiculous. Did Nigeria Air buy an ordinary kite?! |

| Re: Air Peace Acquires A New Airplane by Nobody: 4:18am On Jun 24, 2025 |
tishbite41:Where did I compare? You lots just be shifting goal post. All I said was that the plane is fairly used and not brand new as claimed by the company. |

I guessed, because they always not meeting up schedules GeneralOuki: |
| Re: Air Peace Acquires A New Airplane by GeneralOuki: 2:28pm On Jun 24, 2025 |
Good2go1:that would be due to maybe bad weather, logistics issues, maintenance delay, or some managerial issues. But not being able to fill up their seats is never part of the reason why they don't meet up with schedule. They can take off even with 20 passengers on board, I have experienced that once in December 2021, we were less than 20 passengers and that was because they moved the flight time from 5pm to 7am which means those who didn't check their mail by 4am early that morning were bound to miss the flight. |

Ashirioluwa:2006 IN AVIATION IS STILL RELATIVELY NEW. WE HAVE PLANE FROM THE 1980s STILL FLYING. |
| Re: Air Peace Acquires A New Airplane by Ashirioluwa: 6:42pm On Jun 24, 2025 |
Stolen:The life span of a commercial plane is about 20 to 30 years, and I am not saying a 2006 plane is not good, but it is an old plane. Also, I am not saying a plane manufactured in the 80s can’t fly. A plane manufactured in the 80s will be regarded as old plane not a brand new. A used aircraft is a used aircraft, regardless of whether it was built in 1980 or 2022. While I am happy that that Air Peace management is growing and making Nigeria proud, but it is blatantly misleading to refer to a used or old aircraft as brand-new. |
| Re: Air Peace Acquires A New Airplane by Stolen: 10:21pm On Jun 24, 2025 |
Ashirioluwa:ALL PLANES IN THE AIR ARE USED THERE ARE NO NEW PLANES IN THE AIR. ONCE THEY LEAVE THE MANUFACTUERER AFTER THAT THEY ARE USED PLANES. BESIDES, THEY DONT JUST BUY PLANE, IT GOES TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR UPGRADE MAINENMNACE FIRST, WHICH TAKES MONTHS. BEFORE THEY ARE CERTIFIED TO FLY. |
| Re: Air Peace Acquires A New Airplane by Ashirioluwa: 10:35pm On Jun 24, 2025*. Modified: 11:36pm On Jun 24, 2025 |
Stolen:No one is complaining about the used plane. The used plane is better than none. Also, it can get the job done. I know operating an airline business is not easy, especially in Nigeria. I only corrected some folks who claimed the plane is brand new. |
