Popular knowledge/ experience based threads that use to cover 4-10 pages per day are now struggling to make 2 pages. This is a Miss and not a Hit for me.

I may soon have to find a way to love reddit and follow people with different geography to discuss solar until i finally set up 48v system.

Same thing crossed my mind last week. I always looked forward to reading the varying opinions of people, people showing off their setups, and also posts with current prices of equipments. The entire mix was a show.

Ok.. as Mr seun don come answer by himself so perhaps e mean say the man dey active..may we dey observe.

because this damage dey show for some threads of interest like AliExpress, mmf, crypto, Us / ngx stock, and most importantly this our Solar thread.

Nairaland has its challenges but i love that we as nigerian with many common issues get to share the problems and solution that have worked for us

Hello Seun, please consider the suggestion I made earlier about allowing some threads to self regulate and the spambot to be totally absent from this particular thread.

After the changes we can still see a lot of hidden posts on this thread which probably fell foul of things like phone numbers or appearing as adverts. However for this kind of thread, these things are essential as people are sharing knowledge and contacts....please try a bit harder as the demise of this thread will be sad as it has really helped a lot of people.

Seun, it's so sad that the frequency of update of this thread has been so much affected by the bot. There are days that this thread doesn't move past a page. In times past, the thread was so active that it can go 3 to 4 pages in a day because of the frequency of updates of posts.

Sad that the bot is now the weapon fashioned against the thread....
