I'm referring to people whose application status hasn't changed since they applied, yet they still received test invites and weren't asked to reapply.

Dragnet did not surprise anyone the test were the same dragnet aptitude test, Aptitude test was strictly for graduate trainee positions while skills test was for experienced positions, all the materials I gave applicants prior to the test was extremely helpful I had no complain from anyone.

Graduate roles cannot sit for skills test only Aptitude Test because they have no working experience.

Guys I think the regret mails were for those that weren't invited for the test. Nlng did same, sent in regret mails after the test have been written.

What of a case where the status is showing "Application Recieved "? And the test has been written.

What should be your concern is to meet the test cut off. There's a possibility that your test result maybe used to consider you for other roles regardless of whether a skill test module was written or not. But that may seem unfair.
I know an applicant who applied for Graduate Intergrity Engr, Graduate Project Engr, Graduate construction Engr but wrote for the grad Project Engr. When regret mails rolled in for Graduate integrity and Construction Engineers, he didn't receive despite not writing the test. It may have been that his test score was used to consider him for those roles. Anything is possible at this point. If you did participate in the recent Chevron recruitment, dragnet used the same pattern.
Let's wait and see how things pan out.
