There's too much complicity in this country and if I were the President, I won't ask the IG why there are no arrests, I'll tell his subordinates to arrest him on the spot for negligence of duty. That is all I need to do to fire the first shot. Everyone will sit up. No playing games. But the way it is now, some people are even saying what the President did with the security chiefs at Benue was drama after rehearsal, imagine that!

It is quite shameful how much our highly respected military has degenerated to the point that Jandor is now dishing ultimatums.

The question is: what led us to this low point?

The bastardization of the military is a disgrace to our national pride. This is not the first time terror cells have tried to gain ground in Nigeria. They were always chased away. Now they are issuing orders and levying taxes. Even our Chief of Defence Staff is talking carelessly as if he cannot solve the problem.

CDS and NSA said hunger and poverty fuel insecurity. Hunger is to be tackled by Ministry of Agriculture. Poverty is to be tackled by Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction. The job of the military is to send the terrorists to the point of no return, and not rehabilitate them through dubious projects like repentant terrorist project. The fully repented terrorist is a dead one.

I suspect the top echelon does not want to solve this problem because of continuous inflows from the national budget.

President Tinubu, give the military two months to clear these terrorists.

I applaud the gallant soldiers who are ready to lay down their lives. Dear seniors, you have intelligence on terrorists. You monitor their phone conversations. They operate bank accounts. We only ask that you send them away from decent company.

How hard is that?

As if buhari is not far better than the monumental failure himself.

This young man doesn't understand some government complicity in some certain things happening in this country. Any president that is serious to lead and get things right in this country would not need anyone to ask people on his behalf to do their jobs, and also the president would have been sacking them once he notices that they are not doing their jobs.

For example, Does the same presidency that wished Yahaya Bello a happy birthday officially look like the presidency that would sack EFCC chairman if he fails to bring Yahaya Bello to court?
