And parroting someone else's words

You didn't know how to manipulate AI until I told you that if was possible and how

But, let me explain something when you read articles about how much the world loves Nigerian wedding traditions 999 times out of 1000 its a Nigerian saying it

You dont let people choose to do it, you force them into it with lies and falsely claiming its a legal obligation

Actually ask the world what they honestly feel about it and you will understand the hate
Its selfish and greedy and 100% 1 sided

And most end in divorce in 4-8 years

And when i say greedy you automatically assume im talking money but no mean cultural greed

Honour and stroking the ego of Nigerian men for things they dont deserve and never actually earned
A simple unbiased search:

"Popular opinion about Nigerian weddings"

And of course there are pros and cons! As is everything there is out there in the world; positives and negatives

POSITIVE: The part that everyone loves about the subject
NEGATIVE: The part people like you want to so desperately dwell on and define the subject in its entirety, shunning the positive views about it because you wanna oppose like it's your life's purpose 🫵🏾🤡

You used the popular

I used actual worldwide opinion and you will see that now

From the actual worldwide opinion there literally are no pros at all and it all cons

But like normal the nigerian man wants his ego stroked and wants to be worshipped like hes some kind of god

And this is not my view
You all know my view on it by now

Mother
Father
Siblings
Aunts
Uncles
Cousins
The community all are entitled to nothing at all in a wedding not 1 word of say
Its 100% about the bride and groom and if they freely choose to do it or freely choose to ignore it all

You have no legal right, no moral right and no ethical right at all

And the bride price is enough to respect the culture and thats still not a legal obligation at all none of it is

But I did exactly what you said, didn't crop it and its the world's actual opinion of your nonsense

So you want to downplay Nigerian weddings?😆😆 I've never seen a person as pathetic! And how were you able to come up with the stats about 999 out of all 1000 people In world who loves Nigerian weddings are Nigerians? Is it a new thing to Nigerians that we are speaking so highly of it as though we are knowing about it for the first time? Plus you didn't tell me nothing about that Google AI game, you d0nkëy😆😆🤡 i figured how you always crop out the search bar in your screenshots so people won't see it's you cherry-picking the cons with the keywords.you input😆
At this point, I'm not sure you are in need of Nigerian women's validation because this right there won't be pleasing to them😆 they have no problem with the Nigerian marriage culture and majority enjoy the flashy outlook of it as a show of status, wanting to be spoiled and presented and arraigned in an expensive manner on her traditional wedding day
(I mean it's actually for the Nigerian men to take care of, which is why non-Nigerians commend it)
And how come you validate the dowry culture one minute and the next you're bashing it in it's entirety?🫵🏾🤡
Are you fighting for Nigerian women about the bride price or are you fighting for the Nigerian men because it's basically the man that are expected to follow the dowry rites and everything about it for the woman's hand in marriage 🤔 so are you bashing the dowry culture to protect the men from the difficult and unnecessary task of bride price??
Why do want your myopic view to be justified soooo bad that you want to downplay every good view about it?😆 How will a Nigerian woman receive this your view of talking crap about her culture?
Is this you still bashing Nigerian men only or as a whole (with women included) because Nigerian mothers also hold this dowry culture sacred and want the best one for their daughters who also enjoys the traditional wedding system
I'm not sure this your POV will be received well by the Nigerian women community😆😆
And when have I ever had a problem with the bride price

See thats the problem with men like you
In your head the word greed always = money and a financial transaction because to the nigerian man the bride price is now just like a security deposit and long term rental

To us the bride price is simply a gift, we dont ask for it back after divorce
We dont want it back
And we dont expect it back

It was given freely and you dont take giftd back

When we say greed we mean
Its always celebrating the nigerian side
Always nigerian traditions
Always you saying humble and respectful and tolerant but its only for the nigerian side

Unless a man actually just takes the woman
When is his culture or his traditions ever celebrated? When is his anything but abused by the nigerian side?

Its all take, take, take, demand, demand, demand

And after the wedding you get all the upsides
The social standing
The respect in the community

But us, we are always outcasts after
None of the social standing
None of the community acceptance
And betrayal of what makes us who we are
And after marriage what happens? The family only actually contact the couple when they need something and for no other reason

They never just pick up the phone to see how the couple are getting on newly married life

And this is seen in your whole society

When a daughter starts working and moves out, how often does the father or uncles just call her to see hows shes getting on? If she needs anything? If shes coping ok? If shes struggling or needs any help?

Almost never, its always the mothers calling to check in or the daughters calling

You are always bringing your insecurities about the bride price into it

Not actually reflecting my view
Ive said multiple times that I believe it should be legally mandatory and a legal requirement worldwide for a few reasons but should be drastically different

1) not about buying the woman and not a financial transaction

But as a symbolic gift to prove a man is capable of providing for a wife and family and willing

2) to reflect the effort and investment that family has made is raising that daughter

How they reinforced ethics and morals into her
Not necessarily religious and not necessarily a housewife

But loyalty and honesty are just 2 examples

3) it would save a lot of women marrying dead beat men that promise the world then just abandoned the wife and kids after

Look at your country as an example

When divorce happens how many Nigerian men pay child support or maintenance? How many just abandon the ex and kids and dont even acknowledge they exist and who's actually left to raise those kids? Its the mothers and or the mother's side

Then those men come crawling back later for a bride price and ego stroke years to decades later

Its a broken system

But the concept if done right could be wonderful and show commitment you just need to stop seeing it as a financial transaction and go back to your roots and how it was originally practiced of it being a gift and contribution to bond both families or the couple

Who doesn't hit them?
Who doesn't abuse them?
Who doesn't control them?
Who doesn't make them prove they are worth love and respect?

Ive only asked 2 things from them

1) honesty

2) not 1 second of our wedding is about her family its 100% about us

If you cant cope with that, that says more about you not me

I mean, come on man, what kind of beta male mug will let an event thats 50% his and 50% his womans be celebrating another man?

And its irrelevant if that man isnt Nigerian

Traditionally who pays for the process?

When its Nigerian marrying Nigerian both families contribute

When its white or black European
Or white American or black American
Or white Australian or black Australian

Traditions are ignored and its 100% on him so you are ignoring your traditional family bonding attitude then and being hypocrites with double standards

Not 1 thing is contributed and your families only take and tell fibs not 1 word of say is required or entitled to being said

And quite frankly the harsh truth is

That if you don't practice what you preach and earn you traditions by living a fairly traditional life

Then you do not deserve them at all

You living the opposite way that your traditions dictate you should then screaming and throwing a tantrum saying that you want them and they must be respected when you didn't respect them yourself

Is not humble
Its not respectful
And its not tolerant

Its greedy
Its selfish
Its a double standard
Its humiliation
Its a lie
Its a mockery
Its undeserved and a million more things none of which you are claiming to be

Ey! Because I didn't reply a day doesn't mean I ran away😆 I have a whole life outside Nairaland (maybe you don't, since you wanna be such an attention seeking squirrel on here) Yesterday was pretty hectic as I got a new project on my plate😆 too busy to reply since lengthy paragraphs are what you need🫵🏾🤡

Manipulating AI response again!
With the way it started with "while..." coupled with the blue highlight on that particular sentence as a result of trigger keywords at the invisible end of the search bar... It's very clear you input a lot of negative keywords
And even claiming that there are "...no pros, only cons"
When it's obvious you manipulated the response instead of allowing it to give a plain straight forward overview
THE MANIPULATION AND DECEPTION😆😆😆
You really think we are stupid?
Okay now-
Let's do it like this;
Do that again but make an intentional typo. Like I did in mine where I deliberately typed "anout" instead of "about" so that it'll make corrections before responding, thereby bringing everything you added into the search bar out of the search bar. The search bar isn't big enough to show all your input so do it again and make an intentional typo let's see.
You think you're smart huh? 🫵🏾🤡
So hell bent on villainizing, you manipulate the AI response and lied that there were "...no pros, only cons" OH JESUS🤦🏾‍♂️

Oh you think non-Nigerians are the only one entitled to paying the bride price in full? 😆 Nah even Nigerian men! Especially Nigerian men who are rich! They already knew growing up that the more money you have the more you spend on your woman's bride price
BUT
if the man isn't 100% financially stable he can reason with his inlaws and they'd reduce the gifts, expenses etc and some family would contribute as well.
It happened to my parents, both family contributed to my parents traditional marriage as my dad was still an intern at a hospital at the time and he wasn't 100% financially capable of the wedding expenses but was deeply in love with my mom.
Plus it's all about gifts too and presence and not necessarily money, you d0nkéy!😆😆
The thing is rich Nigerian men doesn't complain about paying 100% for the wedding expenses as they already grew up knowing the more money you earn the more you spend without complaining and it's even some sort of ego for a rich man to spend on his woman.
But one secret, the Nigerian women of this Gen Z era are starting to follow the path of modern women as regards mocking you for complaining about spending😆 Nigerian women today are very materialistic so you better not let them catch you complaining about expenses😆😆

Thats your insecurity because you will never he able to afford one and thats your problem in your head its always bride price bride price bride price and you cannot get past it

Not my issue

What else is involved in a wedding little boy?
Traditionally the brides family contributes to something

And it doesn't if its something tiny the point is contribution to bond both families

But there is nothing traditional about Nigeria today not 1 thing
