I don't understand... I just agreed with you so why are you asking such questions? What I said is, doesn't this same principle apply to every other job? Won't a doctor from the local area treat his people better? Same for a banker, engineer, lawyer or government worker.

I like the appointment of Yoruba man in SE but on Forest Guide is not a wise move.

Community policing is bettér with indigenous people that HEAR THE LANGUAGE and UNDERSTAND THE FOREST TERRAIN

I am very ashamed of the man called Akinbamilayo. It is very shameful of him to have accepted that appointment, very shameful. He did that without consultation with his constituency. He should have contacted Oba of Lagos or retired IG Smith. Is it that retirement pension is not enough for him to survive?

Firstly, that appointment is not a National Service. The appointment is not from Police Headquarters or Police Service Commission. The State Governor acted right by trying to prevent internal control of the corps by politicians, traditional rulers and communities fighting over land but as person that attended University in IBO land I will never advise any YORUBA man to accept a local appointment in IBO land. The governor should have looked for an EDO (EDO North) Muslim for that appointment. I don't support IBO for that post. Also, if it were Anambra, I will not support an IBO for that post because of Several groups with conflicting interest.

Please, DCP, leave that post I know you have retired but not tired. God will bring another opportunity for you in other places.
