oldguyman:Over 1000k Abba even Iranian news didn't come close to this figure despite propaganda. Israel didn't strike any civilian area notwithstanding there must be casualties in any war. What we are saying is that Israel has precision and plan in this war but Iran had non. Israel weakened Iranian military significantly or you think Iranian would easily give up this war after losing what they spent their entire resources to build for decades. They lost hamas, hesbollah, houtis, top generals, nuclear scientist and nuclear capability all nuclear sites are all gone. Please tell me what Israel lost not even one iron dome. Israel announced to the public anytime they successfully eliminate or destroy a particular thing but Iran are just throwing bombs whoever wherever without announcing a significant target, if Israel fire the way Iran were firing missiles everywhere in Iran would be rubbles |

Love800:In a nutshell: 1) After the jews were dispersed and enslaved around the world, their Arabian/Palestinian brethrens inhabited most of the biblical land that used to be the lands of the Jews. 2) Following the holocaust and the end of the Second World War, a plan was initiated be the allies to resettle the Jews in this former space in the middle east that they used to occupy before they were scattered all over the earth. 3) This resettlement which was carried out in the 40s led to the recreation of a Jewish homeland; Isreal. Initially, the Arabs/Palestinians were ambivalent to this scheme, but as the contest for territories naturally heated up and the ideological differences between the two groups became more pronounced, confrontations ensued. 4) With their financial, economic, political, diplomatic and military clout around the globe, the Jews of the "New Isreal" were able to successfully crush these challenges and more or else subjugated the Palestinians who used to occupy the land of Isreal before the "resettlement" of the Jews post world war 2. 5) This angered other Arabs in the region who are very territorial in their endeavours. So the Arab nations ganged up against Isreal and declared a series of wars that were intended to retrieve these lands from the Jews and hand them over to the Palestinians.(read up the 6 day war and others). The Arabs failed and were in many cases crushed so badly that Isreal also hyjacked their lands and joined those to the new Isreal; the Golant heights from Syria, the Sinai from Egypt, then the West Bank and the Gaza strip from thePalestinians.... 6) These series of events helped amplify the hate and anger in the Region against each other. Matters are not helped by the fact that isreal is the only non Muslim country in the middle east. But the more these other Arab countries strategised to find ways to unravel Isreal, the more sophisticated Isreal became, not just in warfare, but also in espionage, diplomatic engagements, weapons manufacturing and research, and general economic progress.. 6) The Jewish population still living in most of these other European/Western countries from where many of these Jews relocated to Israel, have now become integral parts of those countries politics and economies. This factor helps them to form very dependable pressure groups in such places as the USA, France and Britain. Very powerful to the extent that they can skew policies in ways that helped to create situations where NATO is now also protecting Isreal.. 7) Out-hustled and out manoeuvred, Arab countries started to wither as they grudgingly make peace with Isreal, while some elected to fight Isreal through proxies. Countries like Egypt under Anwar Sadat made peace with Isreal and stopped any sort of direct attacks against Isreal, but hardliners in places like Saudi Arabia, Syria under Assad senior, Iraq under Saddam and others, basically decided to manipulate other means they hoped to use in toppling the regimes in Isreal... Enter Iran. The Iranians are not Arabs. They are Persians, but they are Muslims living in the same middle east. They are mainly shiites and have a long civilisation that includes defeating the Jews at certain times in the past. But all through the resettlement process and the immediate aftermath, the Iranians were ruled by a very pro-Western regime headed by the Shah of Iran. So the Shah had a very robust relationship with the isrealis. That means that while the Arabs were fighting the isrealis, the Shah wasn't that interested. 9) That all changed when the Iranian Islamic revolution happened in 1979. The Shah was basically chased away by his people because of this sort of policies. The Ayatollahs who took over as the rulers of Iran became very anti Isreal and started a series of policies to use their huge oil wealth and massive political reach to organise against the zionist state of Isreal, as some other Arab countries did and are still doing.. 10) These were going on without much big events until the US invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, the next door Muslim nations to Iran and basically decapitated the leadership of those countries. Iran immediately accelerated her weapons research and manufacturing programmes and started supporting anti America/Western groups in these countries, especially in Iraq, where most of the IEDs used to chase American service men away from that country, were supplied by Iran. 11) The stunning effectiveness of these new military capabilities developed by Iran, coupled with their greater fear of western intentions in the area and the fact that the other Sunni Arab countries do not like the fact that Iran has now become the headquarters of shiites globally, only encouraged the Iranians to get more sophisticated in the art of weapons manufacturing/ espionage... 12) With every Muslim nation in the neighbourhood wanting their annihilation, Isreal was genuinely alarmed. In less than 3 decades after the Iranian revolution, Iranians were producing rockets with sophisticated delivery systems, and were building up a very radical support base across the region to not just antagonise the isrealis, but to also set up platforms to remove the imperial monarchies that rule the very rich oil states of the middle east if possible. 13) Since most of these Arab oil producing countries are very close allies of the West, especially the Americans, most of them who were hitherto against Isreal because of the Palestinian issues, started to find ways to collaborate with Isreal and the USA in order to defang Iran. Essentially, their interests aligned against Iran. The Ayatollahs in Iran didn't help matters by increasingly working to be at the threshold of making nuclear weapons while producing the most sophisticated rocket delivery systems in the whole middle east . 14) Isreal felt legitimately threatened and so was Saudi Arabia the leader of the Sunni world. America and the two countries are very close. While the Saudis don't have the military abilities to challenge the Iranians frontally and win, the Isrealis felt they do have what it will take to do just that. So they found ways to convince the Americans to allow them attack the Iranians in order to stop both their rocket and nuclear weapons ambitions. Many American presidents rejected this, but Trump caved in and the rest is history... |

RulerIAm:Yes. Not all nuclear scientist major in nuclear weapon production. Most are there for nuclear power plant maintenance too. Just like not all mechanical engineers participate in production of vehicles. Irrespective of that they are not military men. By your argument a driver that drives a military truck or transport military equipments is also a military man too? |

kushercain:You are the one drinking Western and Israeli propaganda. Number One, you will call any base they have "terrorist base." That's the first sign you are deceiving yourself. Number Two, you will say "hiding in schools and hospitals." Please tell me where they should fight back from. Will a library be better? Will a mortuary be better? Will a factory be better? Just name it. There is no where they fight from which you will not describe as a "terrorist base" hiding behind civilians. Ol boy wake up. The same people called Nelson Mandela a terrorist. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. This same Israel you are defending has committed the worst atrocities ever. Do you know the way they cage Gaza like a concentration camp? Do you know the sort of apartheid and colonialism being practiced in the West Bank? And black man that you are, you are defending that sort of racism and oppression, the same thing that was done to your ancestors. Wake up, I repeat, stop drinking Western Koolaid. Think for yourself. How can one set of people cage and oppress another set of people and when they defend themselves you say "terrorists hiding behind schools and hospitals." I pity you. They have eaten your mind. |

mikeapollo:Let me ask you a question.... So lets say you bought a land in Lagos, banana island....You built your house, you and your generations have been living there peacefully for hundreds of years. Then some guys come in the middle of the night attack your security guard, maybe even kill one of your kids, destroy your BQ build their house there, and then continue to gradually break and take over your compound...And all this is done based on some claim from 2000 years ago. Please tell me what you will do.... |

Guestmale:Oh so we're starting history on October 7 now? What do we say about the decades of blockade, land seizures, apartheid policies, and repeated bombardments that led up to that? Or the thousands of Palestinian civilians, many of them children, killed long before October 7? These things are not shown to you on BBC, CNN, Sky News, MSNBC and other Western propaganda media that are shoved down your throat. You don’t trap, brutalise, and bomb a population for decades and expect peace songs in return. Yes what Hamas did was tragic but you can’t isolate one day in history and pretend it happened in a vacuum. You’re outraged at 1,200 Israeli lives lost (as you should be), but completely silent on the 50,000+ Palestinian lives taken in the months that followed. If human life truly matters to you, then it has to matter consistently, not just when it fits a certain narrative. Justice isn’t selective, if your empathy only activates when it’s Israelis dying, but you scroll past Palestinian corpses like it’s normal, then you’re not defending humanity my bro, you're defending a double standard. Dig a little deeper in history, not just from Oct 7. |

heysquare:The number of casualties tell you which country have the safety of their citizens at hand, all the bunkers in Israel is not for decoration, it's meant to minimize casualties, we all see how your Iran keeps targeting residential buildings in all the video your bothers are uploading. Why should Israel retreats from Gaza when your Gaza people are not ready to release all the Israeli people that they kidnapped? |

sben2308:Did you read what I wrote? Go through it again,.what are military generals doing at Lebanon? Arming and coordinating threat and you expect idf to wait until something bad happened b4 they can react. People like you are the ones spinning narrative that idf knew abt October 7 and didn't act just cos they want to use October 7 as excuse to attack hamas, assuming idf has annihilated the threat just like the one u stated, same you will still come and say idf attack hamas unprovoked. The good thing is that every right thinking person knows the truth, you guys derive pleasure from falsehood so either which way, you will always spin the narrative trying to portray idf as d aggressor even when its glaring and on camera that Iran chant death to IDF, arm militia and has never hidden their intention. |

Thunderfayamods:Antisemitism wears many masks: liberal, outraged, Muslim, atheist, antichrist, nazi, Christian, righteous about gaza, rubbish indignation at my posts... Many masks, but one sentiment. Outrage at Gaza isn't for love. Otherwise have it for the entire north Africa that was conquested by Arabs. You wouldn't. Not if you share the hamas inclinations. |

ekineme:Keep deceiving yourself, if not because of USA, Tel aviv would have been worse than Gaza. Iran messed up by allowing Mossad spies into IRAN without any proper scrutiny, that was why Israel were able to target their generals and scientists, they have learnt from their mistakes now and caught most of the traitors. |
