It wasn't a Russian missile.
All the missiles used were Iranian missiles and most were of the older stock.
This particular one was probably the Fattah hypersonic missile with a speed of Mack 15 (that's 15 times faster than the speed of sound).
Only one of it was used against Israel throughout the war.
And there are many more of it in their underground missile cities.

The only reason why Isreal was flexing muscle on Palestine is because they have no standard military. Hamas is just a militant group who poses lesser threat.

Iran would defeat Isreal any day anytime. Isreal has never fought a war that got their country directly hit but Iran proved too strong for them. Isreal doesn't agree to ceasefire if they were fighting a weaker opponent.
