Yayi should answer these questions to convince not just only me but other people. If the government officials including the state governor want to visit Sango, they don't use old road, they would rather go through Lagos express . The Deputy governor is also from that area, they don't pass through old road from Sango to Abeokuta or Abeokuta to Sango. Let's forget about him being a Senator in Lagos for years before switching to Yewa axis. Now that he's fully representing that area, how come the dilapidated state of Sango- Ota- Idiroko road still remain same for decades? Your role as a senator is to oversight the government projects most especially the ones in your constituency, that same Sango Ota road have been awarded severally without nothing been done? Yayi, explain to us why is that so |

helinues:Yewa (and Awori) areas have always been an afterthought and is the least developed of the 4 legs of the Ogun apoti. I know you lump Rẹmọ with Ìjẹ̀bú but let's leave that argument for now. Let's get a Yewa person in and let's hope that person favours his zone during their 8 years tenure to catch up with the others. Off the top of my head, I can't see how you can get to Otta from Abeokuta through the expressway. I guess you go from Kútọ heading towards Ṣágamu and turn right at some point to come out at Papalanto. Surely they can't go all the way to Lagos first and then cut across to Lagos Agege expressway. |

aswani:Bro, my epistle is about Yayi not Yewa governorship ambition. Is it only Yayi from Yewa interested in the 2027 Ogun governorship? As for the Ijebu Remo Eish, It's none of other regions in the state whether their candidate for governorship is Remo or Ijebu same way as Egba and Owu. Remo and Ijebu are one politically in Ogun state, that's how those who are not from there see it same way they see Egba and Owu as one. Gov DA who is from Reno is currently using their 8 years slot. It's time for other regions outside Ijebu/Remo |

helinues:You are wrong, OGD used Rẹmọ's slot, not DA. Òwu is squarely under Ẹgba kingdom nau, ah ah. I believe there's 5 or 7 of them. This is nothing like Rẹmọ and Ìjẹ̀bú, two distinctly proud people living harmoniously side by side. But I take your point about your rant being against Yayi and not Yewa for which I apologise, if not Yayi, another Yewa man or woman please. Ogun State, fair ìs fair, Yewa lo kan! |

aswani:Is DA not also from Remo? During the Ojude Oba, one Fuji musician was shouting Ijebu lo kan, I actually struggle to comprehend that, Kan how? Let Yewa present another better candidate than Yayi. Ogun central will get the DG position. The current DG which is from Yewa axis is not politically strong . She too should be held responsible for the sango Ota road as she reside there |

helinues:OK, I stand corrected, DA and OGD are both Rẹmọ people, my bad. Yewa first then Ìjẹ̀bú again. No one from Yewa has ever ruled the state, OO was Ìjẹ̀bú. Also, the musician was herring carried away by Ojude Ọba festivities, these things happen. |

aswani:How about Ipokia? They have not also been Governor, not even sure about Deputy governor position self. Salimot Badru who was Deputy governor during OGD is from Yewa, also the current pairing Gov DA. Meanwhile, Ogun central can also lay claim of the 2027 Ogun governorship because Ogun central have only served 12 years while The Ijebu/Remo axis is currently on 14 years, 2 more years to make it 16 years. OGD and DA. Egba only served 4 years which is Osoba, Amosun is from Owu, he served 8 years |

helinues:Ake, Òwu, Òkè Oná and Gbàgurà, what do they have in coomon. For you to count Òwu as distinct somewhat suggests you want to "disenfranchise" Obj from Ẹgba land. If we can agree there is no such thing as Egba/Yewa axis, how can we accept Ijebu/Rẹmọ axis. Odogbolu, Ikenne, Sagamu are not Ìjẹ̀bú towns. Ìjẹ̀bú ode, Ìjẹ̀bú Igbo, Ago ìwòye, those are Ìjẹ̀bú towns. |

aswani:Egba and Owu play same politics, that's what Remo and Ijebu should be doing but they always play their politics separately. Whose fault is that? Ogun central Egba/Owu have been the mutual factor for Ijebu and Remo . If Ijebu support Ogun central decision, Remo would rather go to Yewa . If Remo reach mutual understanding with Ogun central, Ijebu would go other way. Meanwhile, The Aworis always play same politics with Ogun central. The Yewa axis, the first established people in that area who proxily control the politics in the area are from Ogun central , Obj is just one of the Ogun central people who established in Yewa axis. You can see the tricky part of Ogun politics |

helinues:Honestly, aside from Ogun state politics being a mess, I don't agree with anything you have written. Each to their own sha. |

aswani:You don't need to agree. It's just a reminder to Yayi to see the odds are not in favour of him. Outsiders only view Ogun politics as easy, but there is a unique way they play it without making noise. Ogun central ( Egba) decisions always end with Baawa |
