Arrogance, Lack Of Accountability : Why I'll Never Support Tinubu* by Devil1Messenger(op): 8:12pm On Jun 25, 2025
As I reflect on the current state of our nation and its politics, one thing that stands out to me is the alarming lack of accountability displayed by certain leaders. And one person who embodies this trait is President Bola Tinubu.

I will never support Tinubu because he disdains accountability. He's so proud that he doesn't think he owes anyone explanations. How can I trust someone who didn't deem me worthy to share his plans during the campaign? He couldn't even appear on national TV to outline his intentions, yet some people still shamelessly support and defend him.

This arrogance is not only infuriating but also deeply troubling. A leader who refuses to be transparent and accountable is a recipe for disaster. It's a clear indication that they're more interested in serving their own interests than the people they're supposed to represent.

And let's not forget, accountability is not just about being transparent; it's also about being responsive to the needs and concerns of the people. Tinubu's inability to connect with ordinary Nigerians, to listen to their stories, and to address their concerns is a glaring failure of leadership.

So, to all those who still support and defend Tinubu, I ask: what is it about his arrogance and lack of accountability that you find appealing? Is it the fact that he's willing to do whatever it takes to maintain his power and influence, regardless of the cost to the country?

I, for one, will never support a leader who disdains accountability and transparency. Our country deserves better. We deserve leaders who are humble, responsive, and committed to serving the people, not just themselves.
