Give the "correct" data, if you actually have any to share.

So only banks are the highest employers. We have enough natural resources for industrialization but no good roads and no electricity to attract investors. We keep supporting politicians for their selfish reasons everytime.

Read the attached note, this is their global staff strength, they don't employ UpTo that number of people in Nigeria alone.

Not industry, but single entity employer. No single school can employer the numbers quoted above.

Unemployment in this country is real
Don't be surprised that almost 50% of each top employer's employees are underemployed.

Majority of Sumal and Yale staff are contract staff. Neither of them can boast of 3000 staff members.

Apart from dangote and flour mills , the rest are banks....

In USA you compared direct employees...in Nigeria you just mentioned Dangote. Compare orange for orange. Direct employees, contract , etc

They have more than. They have up to 10 plant in Oyo and a shift has roughly like 3'000 personnel with 3 shift per day, that's about 9k to 10k. Trust me if Sumal should stop operation today, it will tell on the state govt as most Youth will be jobless in Ibadan metropolis to be precise.

Sometimes last year, there was a protest in SUMAL, the whole city felt it.

The data captures only "listed" companies. The government is not listed.
Maybe the title should have been "Top 10 largest private employers of labour in Nigeria."
The federal government has over a million staff on its payroll. Even Lagos state government alone self employs over a hundred thousand.

Don’t get it twisted. All these banks are up there because they fire their staff both new and old at will. Anytime any day

In a country where BANKS are the biggest employers 😭😭😭😭😭 shows there's a fundamental problem with manufacturing.
Such a terrible scenario.

Here is the major reason most graduates end up as Political Thugs, Bankers, Marketers in Banks, Teachers in primary schools, Ponzi scheme hopefuls & Pentecostal Pastors.
Same pattern every year.
No innovation.

Here lies exactly the problem of Nigeria, we produce graduates every here with no entreprenuerial skills. Ask your self who gonna create jobs for the yearly thousands of graduates? It is not the work of the government alone.

How is this a lie? Currently banks are employing people because there is shortage of staff…not all bankers stay in the banking sector for long…some leave after a while making banks always in need to get staff for understaffed branches

Not even one telecoms company with offices and customer care centers everywhere? It seems they're excluding contract staff because I'm dead sure that MTN has more staff than stannic IBTC but majority of them are contract staff
