Words and synonyms 1. Tinubu - Tax 2. Tinubu - Tax 3. Tinubu - Tax again. Meanwhile, I've gone through the bills and there are interesting stuff there especially pertaining to SMEs. Kudos to the president on that but it will affect big companies a lot especially with cases of multiple taxation |

I have said it here before, the tax reform will only bring pain, agony and poverty to the common man. I was part of the training last year and I vowed never to work with them. Even the old women selling in front of their houses, food seller, mechanism, hawker on the express, everybody will all begin to pay tax. This will only increase the price of goods and services and thereby make the masses suffer. For those supporting may Tinubu governmenthappen to you and your family. When we ask what do the masses been taxed stand to gain. They mentioned quality health care, road lights etc. The simple question is, if those in working for the government, don't av access to these, is it those paying menial amount will? The answer is NO Nemesis0147: |

Take it or you leave it, Tinubu is the best President Nigeria ever had. You don't have to necessarily like him, just appreciate his work. Btw, I didn't vote for him in the last election, this time I will |

The more you see the more you loose hope in this country. Tax reform was borrow from a white man ideology which will never and ever work in Africa. It will only increase high rate of poverty and insecurity. The government need to get rid of this nonsense policies and think of policies that will work for our people. |

I want to believe this government will take a pause now, after yet another reform and wait for the positive effects of ALL these reforms combined, to start showing on common man. Make Mr President do us jeje o... because, the effects of subsidy removal and floating of the Naira is still doing the common man shege banza o ![]() |

Kingsgaga: the bolded got me rolling on the floor. You are at best a comedian.I don't know how I usually feel whenever I see an illiterate trying to disguise as a learned person. I doubt you read even the title page of the tax reform bill, if you did, you won't be spreading misinformation about this wonderful reform in Nigeria's tax administration. This bill when signed into law will effectively reduce corruption among the revenue generating agencies. It will exempt a wide number of MSMEs from taxation. It will increase the minimum turnover small companies must attain before they can be liable for CIT. Go and educate yourself please. Seun, please do something about this your AI, it will most likely diminish active participation on this forum over time. |
