Christians need to know the difference between the opinion of men (including Christians and church leaders) and that of God.

Not being married doesn't make you any less of a man or woman in God's sight even if it does in that of men.

It can't also hinder your level of walk with God or spiritual life.

Ask men and women like Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, John the Baptist, most of the apostles in the Bible including Paul.

This is not the beginning when everything was good and God making a woman for the Adam because it wasn't good for man to be alone.

This is after sin had corrupted all flesh, and God had sent His Son to die for the sins of the world, so that all sinners can come to repentance and be restored back to God.

So that's God's priority in this church age not marriage, hence why the great commission of Jesus to His disciples before His departure from this earth, wasn't for them to go into marriage and fill the earth with their offspring, but rather to go into the world and preach the Gospel to every creature so they can come back to God and be saved.

He is right absolutely right because marriage is not the ticket to heaven and no where in the bible where it say if you don't get marry you won't go to heaven but if you are a sodomite you will rot in eternal hell and if are prostitute and you die with it without relevance be sure of eternall hell and mind you any attempt to involve yourself in any sexual immorality sorry to tell you hell is your home.

Why is there this phobia for marriage these days? Is it money or what? If the mentality is on making money first , then all singles should be ready to be "ancestral singles". Who knows what's what in the next minute ? Who promised you tomorrow ? We are all living on hope. Living within one's means is the key. If it ain't making sense in the city , it might in a town . There's no life style or standard without its own provisions. Those who gave birth by mistake some years back with shame and rebuke are now so proud of the so called "children". Then , they never wanted them cos they had no money but those children are making them proud now. Ask Clarion Chukwura, Genevieve and co. Our old mothers never set unrealistic standards for themselves during their prime . Their husbands too were never "Dangote" before taking the bull by its horn. But today , every single is scared of the bills. Let me tell you all, " the cost of things " may never drop. It'd continue to get expensive cos everyone wants naija to become UK, so expect things to become the way they are there.
If you don't have money for flat , get a single room, there are plenty single ladies that would understand and stay with you there .
If you don't have money for pampers , use napkin
If you can't afford private school , take your child to jeleosimi or public school. We also attended public schools when we were kids.
If you can't afford baby's food, grind some grains together with protein, your baby would take it.
Whatever a child would become he would become .

The current situation in Nigeria, marriage should be discouraged or put on hold.... otherwise the coming generation go too suffer, imagine waking up ds morning with nothing in the pocket and you have three kids and wife to feed today..

Indisputable fact. Most people make it seem like being married bestows special super human favours and intelligence on you

Even Paul the apostle said marriage is trouble (1 Corinthians 7:28)

That's why I wonder why some people rush into marriage without considering the costs.

It's even worse when it's a loveless marriage as love is the foundation.

The moral of his story is, if as a man you can't take care of a woman and potential kids when you marry, don't marry. Don't go and marry because society is forcing you to marry and cause more problems for society when you don't have the means to take care of your family.
