A youth group known as Omenuko Ndigbo United has raised concerns about how Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in 2023, is behaving in the current plans to unite opposition parties for the 2027 elections. In a statement released on Thursday in Owerri, signed by the group’s President, Comrade Benjamin Madu, said Mr. Obi is not showing real interest in working with other opposition leaders to challenge the ruling APC. “We are not happy with Peter Obi. Instead of joining hands with others to rescue Nigeria, he seems to be focused only on himself. This is not the time for selfish politics,” the group said. They accused Obi of repeating what he did in 2023, when his actions helped divide the opposition and made it easy for APC to win. According to the group, the 2027 election is very important for Igbo people, and they must not make any mistake this time. “The current president is from the South. This is the best time for Ndigbo to push for the presidency. But we need unity. If Obi leaves the coalition, it will be harder for an Igbo person to become president in 2027 or even in 2031,” they warned. They also questioned whether Obi might secretly be working to help APC and President Tinubu, saying his silence and lack of involvement in the coalition are suspicious. “Obi is not fully part of the plans, and it’s starting to look like he is playing another game. We need to know what he really wants,” they said. They added that recent attacks on Obi by APC supporters like Reno Omokri remind them of similar tricks used in the last election to create confusion. They also mentioned that journalist David Hundeyin had warned the opposition not to repeat past mistakes. The group asked Peter Obi to come out and say clearly if he wants to join the coalition or not. “Nigerians deserve honesty. Peter Obi should stop pretending and tell us where he stands. We will not allow what happened in 2023 to happen again, especially if it will hurt the Igbo cause,” they concluded.

Peter obi is constituting nuisance here and there. He is not a straightforward person. No reasonable person will see him as a reliable person |

No amount of media distraction will change our resolve to massively vote Tinubu out of office in 2027. The more Peter Obi is attacked by Tinubu media handlers, the more our resolve to stand by him increases, because a person responsible for massive hardship and deaths in Nigeria is your enemy, anyone he spends time attacking is most likely trying to save you from him |

Lol. Our brothers from the SE should make it make sense. They now say Obi is standing in the way of Nigeria 'salvation' by not joining a coalition to "rescue" our nation. So, a Village that wants to rid itself of kidnappers should turn around and attack one man who will not join their "chase kindappers out" coalition led by fifty Evans and 100 Bello Turjis? Anyone who can swear those in the coalition alliance have 'saviour of Nigeria' credentials should list the historical leadership records now for each prominent member of the coalition alliance Starting from Atiku, El Rufai, Malami, Babachir Lawal, Amaechi, Dele Momodu etal so Nigerians can judge for themselves whether they are saviours or slavers. Better for our SE brethren to confess their irredeemable hatred fot Yorubas that means they would rather the devil win in 2027 than for a Yoruba to continue in power. That would be far more honest and acceptable than calling a band of desperados, who have gotten Nigeria where she is today, incoming "rescuers" of our nation. |

VERY TRUE ... though we love PO, his recent body language is proving to be not understandable. It is either you are hot or cold, join the coalition and actively too or tell Obidients you are not contesting in 2027. Know it now that you alone CAN NEVER defeat APC, except you just want to bulcanize opposition votes AGAIN!!! |

I usually laugh when people say Peter Obi helped the APC win the 2023 election. This was a man we were told had no structure and was incapable of winning even his ward, a local government area, or a state. One person even said the noise around his candidacy would fizzle out like Andrew Liver Salt. Yet, at the end of the election, he garnered over 6 million votes. Suddenly, he's being accused of balkanizing votes and helping the APC win the election |

givedemwotowoto:I am with you on this. My own voting for Tinubu is to use to punish my landlord. I warned him about supporting Tinubu in 2023 but he didn't listen. He has already sold 3 out of his 4 cars. His business has collapsed and I am looking at buying his house. I believe if Tinubu win 2027, any one that survives 2023 will definitely collapse by 2027 |

Bobloco:Stop running around chasing your own tail. Who are you talking to exactly? Is it not your own fickle and emotional people, now rounding on Obi because of their perception he is ambivalent over joining a "rescue Nigeria" coalition that, for Obidients, is an "anyone but Yoruba President" mission in 2027? I am no fan of Obi but I know his antecedent enough to predict his actions almost accurately, in every situation, which you "anyone but Yoruba" President desperados will never accept. In this situation, Obi will rather run independently, as he fled PDP to do in 2022, than be consumed by Vampires he knows he can never trust let alone gain the respect of. Obi as he recognised what Atiku and Tambuwal etal where trying to do in the PDP in 2022, leading to him fleeing, will also understand this is a coalition of Northern bloodsucking Vampires, in all but name, looking for Southerners to use and dump. Same reasoning that made him flee PDP in 2022 will make him shun this coalition of Northern born-to-rule imperialism. Obi is not that hard to read. He will shun this coalition to run independently. |

jmoore:Whatever. Why are those running around promoting this coalition of born-to-rule Northern imperialism not including Obi in their talk at all? Why is Obi also not takling about them? Keep blaming "Agbbaadoo" foe everything. Shey they made him flee PDP also in 2022 rather than confront Atiku you lot love to fool yourself is a "uniter" with best intentions for Obi? Yet you people never wonder why your messiah still preferred to leave PDP for Atiku and his Fulani gang? Or you will blame Wike for his departure? Abi "agbbadoo" even? The problem is that you people dont know Obi and even yourselves because you are always simplistically looking to blame 'outsiders' you hate , like "agbbaadoo", for everything. |

WizardOfNG:It's an irony to accuse others of chasing their tails while writing an entire essay projecting your own paranoia. You say you’re not a fan of Obi, yet you’ve analyzed him like a dissertation subject. That level of obsession isn’t giving “neutral,” it’s giving pressed. Stop trying to lazily link Obidients with being “anti-Yoruba.” It’s intellectually dishonest and frankly laughable. When Tinubu and his coalition ganged up to remove Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, cutting short the South’s chance at an uninterrupted eight-year tenure, nobody screamed “anti-Ijaw.” But now that Tinubu is president, every form of dissent is suddenly labeled “anti-Yoruba”? That’s selective outrage at its finest. Obi supporters are focused on competence, not tribe. If you can’t grasp that, maybe you’re the one stuck in the ethnic quicksand, not them. Also, calling Northern politicians “bloodsucking vampires” while pretending to protect Southern interests reeks of the same division you claim to oppose. You can’t decry tribalism while weaponizing it in every sentence. Obi will do what he believes is best whether you write an entire novel predicting it or not. What Nigerians are tired of is the same old political mafia, no matter the region. If that threatens you, maybe you're part of the problem. |

I am a hardcore obidient. What this group said is the bitter truth. If obi did not unite with other oppositions, it will pave way for tinubu reelection |
