Certainly, you DO NOT KNOW what “one thousand and something hectares” are. If you knew, you would not make such ignorant comment.

The question was very simple. The PA dismissed the allegation that Wike’s son got an allocation of such size of land, but he confirmed that the land was allocated to a farmer and the company is called JOAQ Farms and Estate Limited. That is the name quoted in the allegation and confirmed by the minister’s spokesman. Tell us the name or names of those who own the company. That settles it, short and simple.

Wike all the while as Governor of Rivers state had the same problem with people’s lands and properties. We read them in the papers frequently how he was destroying his perceived enemy’s houses and hotels, just like El Rufai. In Abuja, he has seized, revoked and threatened. So far he has not told anyone about the source of his humongous wealth. It is only appropriate for citizens to ask leaders questions such as this. Leaders in turn have the duty to answer. Any leader who’s not ready to face such questions, should not occupy the seats.

That's about 20sqkm of land. While I wouldn't put it beyond Wike, common sense states it's not possible.

If you read to the end you'll see that it's not just in Maitama and Asokoro, but even in Bwari and other suburban towns that made it up to that number of hectares.

Lere was too quick to reply and in his haste, he skirted some facts. First, he failed to tell us who the owner of JOAQ farms is since it's not Wike's son. He also didn't tell us why it was associated to an address frequently used by the Wike's. And then, he said where will you see such hectares in Maitama and Asokoro forgetting it was a combination of hectares from several suburbs including a few in Maitama and Asokoro. And he also failed to realized that when he was initially asked he denied no knowledge. By the way, no one was expecting him to say otherwise. He did his job which mostly involves lying.

Did the person pay for the allocation?
Abi all of us can apply for allocation of lands now?

Kingsley Chinda is one of Wike's top allies and this has further proved it. There was a time when they accused Wike of giving him a widow's land and he denied. Now you guys brought the truth out. I think Wike is using Kingsley Chinda's as a proxy to acquire.

Not Maitama, it's only 7 hectares in Maitama and Asokoro combined. The rest are in Bwari, Kwaita and Gaduwa.

But let's all be honest, does that thing sound anywhere close to reasonable to anyone? Wike can't even allocate that to Tinubu himself.

For those who might not understand the scale of this because they've had nothing to do with land acquisition or anything concerning lands, a hectre is 10 plots of land measuring 100 ft by 100 ft, or 30x30 meters, or 900 m². These guys are saying Wike gave his son over 20,000 plots of land!!

Read the original story, 7 hectares In Asokoro and Maitama. The rest in other areas that are forecasted to have a real estate boom.
