Almost 2k pounds. This man deserves some accolades. In a country where hunger, starvation, poverty, persist. A country which has been destroyed by the devilish party known as APC, someone can return this money. That reminds me of the officer who also rejected a sum of money from a kidnapper too. We need those kind of men in position of power, men whom the lust of power or money will not buy their conscience. Nature! Give us more men in time like this.

She is a foreigner from Cameroon who came to buy goods in Ariaria, Aba. You can see she is elderly & the hassles of internet banking or ATM may not be convenient for her.

As in say wetin happened? Someone forgot it and he returned it. Period there's nothing so special or hard to do about it! How sure are you that if he runs away with it he wouldn't be caught? the do so for different reasons.... In the north here, especially village market where they do sell cheap items, they don't accept transfer, many of them do not even have an account... While sometimes some do not even accept transfer..

So they go with some cash...

Tell me any religion or a particular sect in any religion that doesn't teach this! It's even more simpler to return it than to steal it. So don't be deceived! There's nothing so special about what the young man did

It takes a strong guts to return 4 million naira back to the owner especially the way he saw the money. He could have easily ghosted the money and nothing will happen.

And what if the woman went back home to curse him?
I know of a very popular celebrity who’s uncles and dad passed away as a Result of a long evil caused by their grandmother.
A maid was accused of stealing from this family and she went home to curse whoever stole the money and the family .

Many years down the line the deity allowed the men in that family to become mature and become successful in life. Then he started taking their lives one after the other only one survived the death .

This was after they went to consult the oracle in my village before it was revealed that an evil had been committed years ago and if nothing is done , the deity was ready to wipe out the generation .

They did the necessary sacrifice and that was how one of them was spared.

So stealing or taking peoples personal effect ( especially the one gotten though another persons tears and hard work ) has serious repercussions in future , where I come from . It’s not until when I’m a believer before I know what is right or wrong . Juju still Dey and e Dey take life .

Don't say Jehovah witness, just say a Nigerian! The fact that JW did that doesn't mean that other Nigerians or religions doesn't do same

We've seen other Nigerians from all angles, North, South, West and East return monies forgotten by others! All the religions in Nigeria have returned monies USD, Naira and other Valuables worth millions of Naira.

It's all about the Nigerian Culture and values not religion. If it was religion then other religions won't be returning monies forgotten or found

And all this claims specifically that (a particular sect) in a religion!!!
It's suspicious arrangement to get online fame.

I remember one guy, may Allah bless him, I transferred N500 recharge card to him by mistake misplacing one number.

And he bought a recharge pin and sent it back later.

Honest people do exist.

I remember I did same also some few years back! When I saw a 1500 MTN recharge card I didn't think twice I loaded it and it entered, and be like say the guy na illiterate, he wanted to send to his wife or something like that so that they will sell and use the money for something, it was after some hours that he called me and started begging! I told him I've already loaded it and I don't have money at the moment to buy him another one, the malam had already given up even begging for 1k I should keep the 500, the next day 1st thing in the morning I bought a 1500 card and sent to him! He was so happy and even prayed for me

I heard of people who refuse to do bank transactions - or open savings accounts for weekly deposits. See banks should organize coaching so people are more aware and have basic knowledge of banking. It reduces the anxiety of banking.

Debit cards should be mandatory! Since people are still carrying 4m about.

Oga forget that thing. Go abroad and see people that don't know God but are honest and principled. In as much as these traits and characters are godly, it alone will not earn you eternal life. Be guided. People of your sect are known to be stone-hearted. I have Jehovah's witnesses in my extended family,FYI.
