It's also great that you CLEARLY highlighted that this was one of Jesus' PARABLES.

By definition, a parable is an illustration.

Considering the context of John 3:13, it is only logical to conclude that this parable is not to be taken literally. As with many of Jesus parable, the point was not to tell an actual event, but to illustrate a moral lesson.

The parable of the rich man and Lazarus (again, according to John 3:13, Lazarus could not have been in heaven) was merely a parable instructing on a vital lesson that sadly most professed christians tend to miss completely.

Its not enough when anyone makes such statement. Its like saying " I am the most handsome man in the world as far as I am concerned" without recourse to reality.

Since it is a standard for Truth for them, we only need to ask if they study it for farming (agriculture), Health (pharmacology, Chemistry, etc), Physics and so on.

Or may still, we need to explain to them what a "Standard" actually means. You know a lot of conclusions can be premised on ignorance.

A quick example of the above is making statements like "Truth to Christians" as though there is a Christian truth or pagan truth. Truth is Truth. Universal and non-partisan.

Since you mention the Bible, it so happens that the bible gives us a very direct answer. No anti-types of prophetic unravelling. It's as direct as it can ever be.

Ecc 9:5 tells us quite clearly - "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten."

Now whether you accept the Bible as a standard is another matter entirely. But as far as the Bible is concerned, there can be no better answer than this.

I guess he is put to sleep until judgement day. The body rots away as dust and is consumed by another person as food to remain physically active. The soul i cannot say.

Bro, there was a time I passed out for several hours, and then I woke up in the hospital.
At a point a friend asked me what I wss seeing all the time I was unconscious. I had no answer because I had no memory of anything. It was like I never existed, No thoughts, no memory... It was just NOTHING.
For days, I kept thinking and trying to make out where my consciousness must have been or gone during that time, but it was blank... Not even a dream sef.
Now, I consider passing out for hours closer to death than our regular night sleep. Having no experience whatsoever while I was out, I started ruling out the possibility of an afterlife.

Maybe we just live, die and that's it... It would be a shame though!

you were unconscious and not dead. Those are two different experiences

I have had lots of NDE; part of the things that convinced me to become a Christian because my scientific perspective couldn't substantiate all this!

I just couldn't reconcile all I saw and experienced with scientific principles. I could have just come to a conclusion that it's a hallucination but even this fell short. Thank God for this by the way else I won't have been convinced enough to join his flock!

The first NDE I had was when I was a pre-teen, I experienced a blackout, at least to those around me with no pulse, while my siblings and parents had to pray before I could be restored back to life. To me, I was playing an engaging game with someone whose face I didn't see until when a particular man told me I should stop and go back. My parents made a fuss about it but to me I still felt like playing, it was really engaging but I didn't know I had almost gone. I didn't count this because there was no sense of danger from my perspective or maybe perhaps death had a sense of humor 😅.

The second one, more OBE-like happened after I sought to know God after being inundated with different religious perspectives. I was caught up between the vast volumes of different religious teachings as to who God is, especially who the personality called Jesus is. I got this experience at night after I had physically tried to reconcile all different religious teachings—It was mentally arduous as there were lot of contradictory teachings and way of life from various religions. So, I decided to let God settle the case. I met the Son, beheld the Father and became Eternally convinced that Islam was False and the rest fell short!

After this experience I had lot of follow ups that God used to totally clear my doubts on various topics, some involved Jesus or angels taking me to various places to help demystify life's mysteries and satisfy my scientific mind but a lot of these things, I couldn't reconcile with scientifically speaking—They were marvelous, They amused my mind!

There was even one where God showed me my pre-existent self and how an Angel came, led me across vast distances then fixed me within my mother's womb. Throughout that day, I was in awe; all that came through my mind was the concept of "data encapsulation" perhaps a lot of physical repeatable processes were simply encapsulation methods 🤔.

This along with many other marvelous things God did, convinced me to give my life to him!

“And the Rich man being in great torment begged Lazarus; who was in Abrahams bosom to dip the tip of his finger in water and quench his thirst”. That tells you there is instant judgement after death.

God tells no joke! As a matter fact cracking jokes is sinful(sorry for most commedians)
Jesus tells stories of reality about Humans and tells parable about Plants Animals.

After death judgement! NO PURGETORY! NO ANAHILATION! NO ANNESTESIATION!

The final judgement is against Satan, the fallen angels, souls presently in hell and the sinners who the Judgement shall meet on earth.

Note! Hell is a active space occupied by people(dead siners) who are eternally seperated from God. They are supposed to wait there till the final judgement day. For now, it is Satan and billions of demons that are tormenting them with fire and other devices and NOT God. However they shall endure greater torment of fire and worms with Satan after final judgement from God.

Our God is a consuming fire! Lets fearrrrrr him!

Man is a living soul made up of body from the earth(ground) and God's spirit.

After man "dies" the body is buried and it becomes one with the earth. And the spirit returns to God and becomes one with it. If it has not completed his mission, it can be sent again....

Man became a living soul. Nothing in that verse suggests he was given a soul. That was exactly my point. He became a living soul when God breathe into a molded dust. Now, reverse this scenario and you have a lifeless body that would turn to dust. It's the breath of God that makes you a living soul, not that God gave you a soul. You're a living soul because God gave you life. You go back to what you were once you lost your breath (the life given by God). That life you have is not you and it's not yours.
I think this is simple enough.
Once you understand that death is a temporary state of non-existent, you'll understand the importance of the assignments Jesus came to perform.

What is the image of man?
Man is made up of the physical body made from the image and likeness of the earth. When man expires this body is buried and it dissolves into the earth
Man is also made up of God's spirit or breath. God is omnipotent, omnipresent and Omniscient. So the spirit of man has those attributes, (long before the Bible was written, an Egyptian parable Proverbs states "The kingdom of God is within, and whoever shall know himself, shall find it).
So that is what man is, and for good measure, the US in Genesis refers to God our creator and father and the earth our mother.
When a man expires, the spirit returns to God. It is God and is pure, and does not need to be saved from anything.
So what ever you envisiage the image and likeness of God to be is what is in man..

Maybe you missed the part where God had to make coverings for the fallen Adam and Eve. Did you think the animal was skinned alive? Man, an innocent animal was sacrificed for that purpose. Someone has to pay the price once and for all and if you don't see all the events in the old testament pointing to Jesus Christ, I'm sorry wasting my time with you.

The heaven and hell they talked about is right here on earth.Religion is a human creation for the purpose of control. The idea of heaven and hell is to induce fear into people and by so doing easily control them.

I was specific "human sacrifice"
God said he hates human sacrifice, why are you advising him to accept it after he said multiple times that it is an abomination.
So if God killed an animal to clothe Adam and Eve, what is the purpose of another sacrifice? Your comparison is flawed.
God gave the Jews, the animal that can be sacrificed , where and by whom. There is no where he appointed Roman soldiers to carry out human sacrifice on his behalf. It is a pagan ideology anyway.....you know it, but the indoctrination has tap root already. You are finding it hard to believe that you have wasted your whole life believing a lie.
