Hello everyone, my name is Shesco CEO Shesco autos

On the 18th of April, a client reached out to us about a lexus es 350. He got my number through a mutual.

Initially he was indecisive about his choice of car as he presented three options which include; A 2013 Lexus Es 350, 2014 Lexus GS 350 and a 2016 Mercedes Benz C300

We were able to streamline these choices to the Lexus Es 350 based on his budget of $6000(Inclusive of trucking and shipping)

Initially, this budget seems unrealistic as the car usually sells for about $3500-$4500 on auction excluding auction fees.

I politely explained to him what he should expect with that budget, meaning the car he would be getting would need to be worked on when it gets to Nigeria i.e a salvaged/accident vehicle.

He obliged and i presented him with cars available for auction.

Fast forward to April 24,2025. I bid and won a 2013 Lexus Es 350 at $2450.

A total of $3253 was paid to copart including auction fees.

Trucking and shipping were arranged and paid for ($2500)

Everything altogether was $5,753(#9,377,390)

Waste of money,when panel and painter finish..the owner would now lie it's accident free and put it for sale at 18m. I've taken note of the car and would cast it anywhere I see it. It will never be the same after mechanic and rewire handle it. Lexus is fragile.waste of money.

The pictures were taken by the shipping company i used. They handled both the trucking and shipping.

Yes at an extra fee, it’s possible to have the car condition checked prior to the auction process.

The car is for personal use and not for resell.

Any buyer knows better to check the car history and have a mechanic assess the car before buying.

Just so you know, more than 70-95% of cars sold in Nigeria are accident/salvaged vehicle.

I think you would need to shift ground a bit on cost of repairs, cos front bumper on that car alone is around 500k, but overall your client got a good deal for a car that originally cost above 20m in Naija.

I’ll do a breakdown on how i arrived at my 1.5m estimate;

1)Very Neat tokunbo 2013 Lexus Es350 front bumper is sold between 300k-350k at Ladipo market.

2)He will only need to buy one of the headlamps(I have attached picture of one of the headlamps that is undamaged).
Market price of one is 150k-200k

3)Replacement of the airbags with live ones (including scanning and programming) is around 200k-250k

4) Bonnet will cost between 300k-350k

5) Other miscellaneous purchases and expenses like radiator , condenser, engine protector, Bumper beam etc(300k-400k)

6) Workmanship;250k

Total; 1,500,000-1,800,000.00

Conclusively , he got a great deal like you stated above.

Tell the owner not to later advertise the car as few months used,@accident free. At a whooping 18m . If he does.no matter who buys it,the money will spoil and finish. Becos una plenty for here for nairaland.onc3 one person don get una code. Una go shaply write SOLD. .wey una go buy car 4m drive am with seat covers for another 5 years,then now tag it 15m,like say na 10m he buy am .

18m for where? Please give me the dealer number make I buy two. You can’t get this car less than 22m. If you get it below be ready to spend extra money for repairs.

Extremely neat ones cost above 24m while the Asian spec are between 25-27m
