What Do You Think PBAT Is Presently Doing Wrongly? by dalitigator(op): 8:18pm On Jun 27, 2025
Since I my first discussion on any political subject in 2023 and first predicted that PBAT was too much of a genius to enter that balabu and bulabu phase, I neva fit rest.

He wants friendship but I don't trust I can keep up with the requirements. I prefer Egbon/Aburo side of things.

Na another party man sha. Nor be APC or Baba pikin. We na adopted Baba pikin. That's all. We don't even know each other physically but we talk and gist alot.

Back to the gist.....

He talked about the high cost of living and the attendant increase in fuel price. My ear full but I had to respect him and listen cos he is an elder, and also a mentor.

Whenever he speaks, you must learn wisdom. So, it's wisdom to listen to him. But I don't know if should be his friend or his aburo. But I prefer the Aburo side of things. It's makes it earlier not to cross invisible lines that might burn you.

Ha! It takes a little to offend them. And they won't say anything but just deny you access to them.

When he was done, I could not help but ask him this; what do you think that PBAT is presently doing wrongly?

And do you intend to correct those mistakes if Nigerians decided to make you their President this very minute.

Na there wahala start. He could not really explain much. It was then we understood that it's earlier to join the band wagon in criticism.

But did we really understand the situation, circumstances and available facts that might have culminated in such harsh and unpleasant decisions?

Well we both decided to make it an open question having shown him my earlier article earlier in the day.

So we are asking you the same question.

What do you think PBAT is presently doing wrongly and how will you correct that if we are to make you our president this very moment?

We dey hia dey wait.

NB: Posted with his full permission after he read through. So while sipping our online beer, we dey wait answers from those who think otherwise.

He can't be wrong when he has people like you around him directing his steps.

If your questionnaire is to access or Guage the publics feelings about your principal, the best way is to go to the public domain and check the pulse of the masses.

If he is doing well the masses will tell you and if not, the same masses will tell you also.

Omo! The list is plenty, if I am to list them all I may end up writing a hundred page book...

Herdsmen, kidnapping, insecurity, appointments, cost of governance, wrong policies, ignoring important issues, focusing on non important issues, playing politics on everything, overhauling of the compromised security architecture, education, orientation, Agriculture and so on...

The list is plenty, I kinda feel some of you don't really know what leadership is all about, or you know and maybe you guys just act like you don't know...

Re: What Do You Think PBAT Is Presently Doing Wrongly? by commoditiesnig(m):
Good topic @Op

I wouldn't say the President is doing wrong presently, he's taken the boldest decisions that all ex-presidents couldn't attempt.

However he urgently needs to rap up on the following:

1. LG autonomy implementation.. still hanging
2. State Police creation (just like the Forest security agency he created)
3. Herders/famers crises.. I support the ranching being proposed
4. Step up fight against insecurity with Mass investment in Tech..such as Drones, etc.
5. Electricity reforms for 24hrs power.. (I know states have been give right to generate power)
6. Agriculture revolution/food sustainability.. (Its good to hear of the tractors and co. procured from Belarus)
7. Lastly, urgent drive to encourage Small and Medium scale businesses (SMEs)

PS: tell PBAT say i dey greet am o🙏

Thank you for this wonderful list. Assuming we make you the president of Nigeria today, How do plan to solve these issues one after the other. Explain to me like I am in Primary 5.

Thank you for this wonderful list. Assuming we make you the president of Nigeria today, How do plan to solve these issues one after the other. Explain to me like I am in Primary 5.
The truth is I can't write everything here now, because I may end up writing another 100 page book, So I will only address a few...

Herdsmen - I will ban open grazing with an executive order first, anywhere cattle is seen without permit to be there is free meat for the community, then while the executive order is place I will send bill to the national assembly for proper passage into law to ban it, so even after I may have left office it will still be in place, then I will order the ministry of Agric to create a program for the herders for proper ranching, Any community willing to offer ranching for herders can expressly state their intention and FG will setup the ranching facility there for them.

And if as a herder you have land, we will also setup the facility for you, additionally we will provide healthcare services for your cows at highly subsidized rate and provide fast growing hybrid grass for your ranch so that there will be abundant supply of food, water will also be provided at the ranches using borehole with solar system, if any cow leaves the ranch that cow will be confiscated and you will pay a fine or the community will be given the cow to eat, and if it becomes frequent then you will have to leave the ranch with your cows.

Is this not an easier and cheaper way to stop herdsmen destroying people's farms? The truth is Tinubu is not ready to fix herdsmen crises because he is part of it, he has struck deal with them hence he can;t fight them.

Kidnapping - The first step is to overhaul the entire security architecture, and it is simple, I only need to make appointments of the heads of all the security outfits and give them the task to reduce the rate of insecurity in the country in the next 3 months and if i don't see results there will be consequences, and if in 3 months I don't start seeing visible results I will sack all of them and get all of the arrested and investigation will start into all their activities, if anyone of them is found guilt of any crime while under my appointment then he is going in for it and if you are not found guilty you will be let free but sacked because you failed in improving security.

With that I don't need to tell the next set of appointees to do their job well and bring results, once I see that in 3 months security has improved under the appointees then I know I have found the team to work with, this is where I will come in full, because I know I now have security heads i can trust, straight will be to start investigation into the entire security architecture on overhauling the entire system, saboteurs are too much in the system, the investigation will focus more on saboteurs and any security personnel found guilty will be sacked, arrested and prosecuted. The system needs to be cleaned for effective output, that way everybody buckles up.

Once that happens, the next step is to apply tech and this is very simple, any kidnapping that takes place, the FG will pay the entire ransom even if it is 1 trillion but I can assure you all of them will either be dead or be in prison after collecting the money, whether by cash or electronic, and they won't spend a dime from the money and the money will be returned back to the FG, I only need a few examples to prove to kidnappers that kidnapping is no longer a lucrative business and it will only end in 2 ways for the kidnappers.

This is where the tech of tracking with payment will be introduced, all the tech for that is readily available, the reason why kidnapping is on the rise is because people do it and get away with it, if people are aware that they will not get away with it no matter how hard they try, nobody will tell them to go and find another work to do.

Additionally there will be a ban on forest settlements, nobody can live in the forest without a police permit and community approval, you must have both to live in the forest if you want to, I will spend good money on sensitization to communities and their kings with townhall meetings from every police station with the DPO sensitizing the villages and communities where ever they are, there will be police hotline scattered all over Nigeria in the communities and villages written both in English and their local dialects on every street, if you see anything looking suspicious in the forest or your bush, call the hotline immediately and the police will swing into action immediately to apprehend and investigate what is going on.

The truth is a lot of people(especially villagers) see some of these kidnappers in the bush but don't even know what to do because they don't have information on what to do, if a criminal is aware that eyes are always watching him, it is very hard for him to commit crime, this I just explained here is what I call policing, the problem with the current system being run by Tinubu and his appointees is that the don't do policing.

Policing is a continuous exercise and it is carrying everybody along and in turn everybody carries you along for effective work of security, by the time kidnappers are being caught even before they carry out operations, nobody will tell them it is now a bad business, that's why I laugh each time I hear the police is putting checkpoints everywhere, you don't need all that if you have eyes everywhere watching for for you if you have provided the platform for that, the government has not created that synergy between the people and the police, for me checkpoints should only be for emergency situations.

Is that what Tinubu is doing ?

No, that's because that's not what he came to do, Tinubu is all about himself and his ambition, every other thing to him is secondary..

I have only addressed 2 of the the issues and see how long it is already and I even tried to make it as brief as possible, that's why I told you I can't address everything.

The truth is any serious leader that gets into power, within a year Nigerians will start feeling the presence of good governance, Tinubu is not in that category, is it cutting cost of governance, corruption, exchange rate, subsidy and so on?

Tinubu is not ready to address these things with sincerity and sense of purpose for the people, because he believes his interest should come first.

I don't know how you people see him but I've always known him to be like that.

One thing I like about Pres.Tinubu... he seems to have broad listening attitude both from friends and foes ... but he prefers utilizing crude methods to solve issues...

As you rightly asked us to criticize the government... but not out of hatred... rather to reveal good solutions... here are my observations ..

Carefully studying Pres. Tinubu... you would discover he is very clever... but actually not very wise.... This is not an insult... but here's what I meant... if everyone would be satisfied in their destiny call and not mingle into others destiny.... Pres Tinubu is a far better choice as a Party Chairman than a National President.... to prove this.... when you carefully study the present state of most political parties in Nigeria.... and even some of the upcoming options... you would find his well calculated presence in them.... which means he controls them by proxy...

Actually based on performances... since we resumed democracy... the best Nigerian President has been H.E. Obasanjo... followed by H.E. Jonathan....

In summary... so far what had limited Pres Tinubu is his focus to outsmart other politicians ... rather than ensuring solutions are offered and implemented... this we usually call..."lack of political will"...
