From living a flashy life to facing jail , what a big fall. Thank God for the wise Yoruba people who believe in hard work and honesty, not quick money through crime.

Make una no too quick to condemn the guy. See, for America, if dem see a successful Blackman, most especially a migrant, dem must to surely find ways to set am up and bring him down. If dem no use women, dem go formulate one kain way like dat just like in the case of this one.
Dem go befriend you, come live close to you, all na to monitor you. Tell me,how many white people wey dem don arrest for fraud abi dem holy pass?
Dem no wan use eye see a successful black migrant. If to say Elon Musk na Blackman, him for don go down since.
They are envying us, we are hardworking; they are lazy, whataboutism. These summarize average Nigerian youth reasoning whenever one of them is arrested for fraud.

Calabar not Cross River.
Cross River is a state that has so many ethnic groups that doesn't answer that name, the name is peculiar to Calabar ethnic group.
Ogoja,Etung,Obubra, Biase etc don't answer such name. Simple Geography! Now I understand why there are lots of low grades in WAEC and JAMB.

I think they were quoting him verbatim, that's why. I too frown at such perpetuation of the stereotype that Africa is a country. It is disgusting and reeks of inferiority complex.
I noticed the quote, but that doesn't stop them as professional journalists from including a bracket to correct the silliness.. to think in the next line he also refers properly to "an indian language", why not then "an African language".... proper journalist owe us better.

Anyway I feel they just lazily lifted the article from a foreign source and copied most of it verbatim.

See who’s talking! Low grades in WAEC and JAMB? Are you kidding? So you know the names answered by the Egba people in Ogun State? Or by the Ibarapa people in Oyo State? Correct me that it is a name indigenous to the Efik people of Calabar and I will get that. Many people say “Calabar” when they mean Cross River. Or PH when they mean Rivers. If you are saying it’s specific to the Calabar people of Cross Rivers , then be clear about that. Stop trying to be clever by half

Lo. Another one bursted. I have said it before and I will keep saying it, most(not all) of the these guys that are into Tech, Start ups and self aclaimed entrepreneurs are part time fraudsters

Below was my comment few days ago when one so called "Tech Queen" was arrested in America for Cyber Fraud.

Yahoo lomo.
You see all these "I am into Tech" "I work from home" "I am a Realtor" "start-up & up-skilling" "I am into Forex" etc, most of them are coded fraudst.ers wey dey use English package themself.

They are not different from the regular Richie Pablo wey dey collect iTunes Gift Card from him client. The only difference be say dem just use English polish themself

You see for this life ehn, nobody fit pressure me again.

Reminds me of that guy that was on forbes magazine. I was laughing then saying where this one pass come from.....

Like hushpuppi got his money through hardwork or the founders of cybex that defrauded Nigerians trillions, the highest in history. No tribe have produced more yahoo fraudster like the same people you claim work hard to make their money.

I am not Akwaibom but to be honest, this is the first time i am seen Akwaibom person involved in yahoo

May God help us in this country to get it right

Let's stop this pride of always boasting, no tribe has it all. Don't be deceived

People get into fraud thinking that they wont get caught or that they can beat the system until reality sets in when they get caught.

There are many successful Black men and Black African men in the US. The US has the highest proportion of financially successful Black people in the world. So your post is completely ignorant. Regarding the last line, Robert Smith is the wealthiest African American, so how he hasn't been penalised?

P.S. White people get arrested for financial crimes. You just won't see it here because it's Nairaland, not Dollarland.

Many Nigerians are arrogant. Fraudsters are one of the most arrogant people in the world.

As for Trump's birthright ban, it has been coming. He would definitely ban it before he leaves office.
