Obi raises alarm as someone erects a fence overnight on the demolished Ikeja site.

The legal counsel to Next Foods Limited, acting on the instruction of the company’s CEO, Ndibe Obi, my younger brother, has taken the matter to court over the Ikeja property that was unlawfully demolished after the trespasser misled the court into granting an unjust possession order. I have just been informed that the same trespasser is now, under the cover of night, erecting a fence within the premises in an attempt to divide the land into two. The secrecy and desperation behind this act speak volumes. It reeks of impunity and seems like a deliberate ploy to complicate the legal proceedings already underway. Whatever the rationale may be, this is a flagrant case of trespass and a brazen assault on the rule of law that will surely be rectified. The matter is now before the court, and we can only hope that justice will not only be done but be seen to be done - swiftly, decisively, and in full accordance with the law. -PO

Someone got a court order to demolish the building that was erected illegally, after demolition, won't the person protect the said land?

This is the calm before a storm that only the blind fail to see. From Landmark to Peter Obi to many others lulled into slumber by false hope that investing in Lagos is their only optoon like some igbos in the north believedin the past, the writing is boldly on the wall: Nigeria is in free fall.

If the East doesn’t rise now collectively, boldly, and strategically to build a self-sustaining regional economy, then what’s coming will make today feel like a mild tremor before the earthquake.

We’ve seen this movie before. Remember how Boko Haram began? Northern elites turned a blind eye or even quietly cheered as bombs targeted Igbo lives in Niger State, Suleja, and Kaduna. It wasn’t until the Igbos turned inward economically and strategically that they began to limit the damage. Today, that monster has consumed its creators.

In five years or less, the current wave of anti-people policies will metastasize into something ungovernable. A monster with no leash. If the East doesn't act decisively, history won’t just repeat,it will escalate.

Imagine if the jews invest very heavily right inside Iran or other Jewish hating countries like Yemen , Russia, on the flimsy excuse that it is the heartbeatof the economy, what economy exactlyare we ranting about here, this is only the beginners guide on how not to invest in hostile territory.

All igbos with registered and documented landed property in Lagos should take loan using their landed property as a collateral and invest in Dubai with far higher returns on real estate investment or united states or UK to avoid stories that touch the heart like this.
This is by far the best moment and opportunities for igbos

Victim complex has never helped you & will never, No permanent structures of landmark was demolished, but he went to town crying & his emotional folks bought into it. The evil you support today will definitely come back to you. Someone got a court order yet lagos government denied knowing who demolished the said property that had been there for more than 15years. There's no way someone will demolish a property in lagos with the government approvals.
