President- Makinde V. President- El-Rufai. I believe with this, the opposition will be a strong force in all region, assuming they agree to work together |

Terribly light combination. This would even excite the old crook. |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by ottersberger(m): 2:33pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
EmptyGarden:The tribalist you replied is only interested in retaining his fellow Yoruba at the helm. |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by richmond500(op): 2:51pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
ottersberger:I hardly make tribalistic comment on NL, I just attack Obi and Tinubu. Moreover I am not Yoruba |

EmptyGarden:well if Atiku supports them and Obi supports them too, I don't think they are light. My problem is that if Obi become the presidential candidate, he will lose the north and the south west. If Atiku is the candidate, he will lose the south west and probably SE if he doesn't make Obi his vice. I believe Makinde has a strong voice in the west and El-rufai has a strong voice in the north. |

With the way things are right now , I believe any combination will defeat Tinubu IF ONLY THE OPPOSITION CAN COME TOGETHER . Tinubu has no achievement to campaign on , the people are poorer now than when he took over power. The north are against him , a man that barely. I don't know how he intends to get more votes than the last time when now people are more disappointed in him than before . The major thing is for the opposition to be united |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by onatisi(m): 2:59pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
richmond500:The north is the deciding factor in our presidential elections and they were the ones that have Tinubu over 63© of the votes that brought him in , I don't think he will get up to that this time around and that is why he is trying to pull all the south together to vote for him but that will be very difficult |

OP let me remind you that Peter Obi won Tinubu in his Domain and also in Abuja. Tinubu only won because they massively rigged him in the North, the same North his political future is in a dilemma… stop 🛑 overrating Tinubu, he’s nothing without the influence of those that made him. And the same people are about to unmake him.. |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by richmond500(op): 3:07pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
Thrasher2024:Ok, that one is past tense and I won't argue on that. There are people who believe Obi won and those who believe Obi did not. Moreover I followed the court proceedings and Obi couldn't back his claim that he won. That's in the past, now we are looking at how oppositions can defeat Tinubu, that's if they could |

onatisi:that is what we said about Buhari, we said even a dog will defeat APC. |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by Akpakomiza2: 3:10pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
Thrasher2024:The north voted obi, he didn't rig there. A southerner cannot rig the North |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by Akpakomiza2: 3:10pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
onatisi:The north will still divide or share votes. El rufai couldn't even deliver Kaduna |

onatisi: na tinubu you dey undermine like this? 😆 That guy .... |

North will never want to vote a fresh southern candidate that would want to do eight years. The only southern candidate that can challenge Tinubu at this moment is Jonathan but I bet he won't contest. This election is Tinubu's to lose |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by Nobody: 3:16pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
Light weight. El Rufai have no much weight in the north |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by onatisi(m): 3:17pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
Rexymania:Boss I understand the opinion of many that assume Tinubu to be a political Demi god . But let's not forget that if not for the likes of el Rufai and the northern Govs , he wouldn't have gotten APC ticket and likewise he would have lost the election. Bit it was the north led by el Rufai and northern governors that made sure he got into power. Noan is an island , and I let's not forget also GEJ AND PDP HAD 22 GOVS AND YET LOST |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by onatisi(m): 3:20pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
Akpakomiza2:El Rufai strength is about mobilising the north ,that is what he is always doing , he has a way of mobilising northern elites that is why h is dangerous . Maybe because he was once a radical or of royal blood . Ask obj and Co. When obj wanted to deal with Atiku ,it was el rufia he first gave the task to |

I am not from the South. But I believe in the saying that there can never be peace without justice. For the sake of Justice let a South Eastern person be president |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by onatisi(m): 3:23pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
richmond500:Thee is a big difference between Buhari and Tinubu. Buhari is a Northerner, secondly he has a cult followership in the north and don't forget elections are determined by northerners, they decided not to disgrace and to support him after all he is one of th ,,BUT TINUBU IS NOT A NORTHERNER. he has no cult followership even in the south ,he lost Lagos State his where he has his base ,so there is a vast difference them |

NetbizBoss:Are you aware that there has been no Hausa President in Nigerian history both in civilian and military regimes. |
| Re: Is This The Best Combo Against Tinubu? by onatisi(m): 3:25pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
Kay17:with the way things are ,I don't think people are even bothered about where the next president will come from . Although it will be wise for the coalition to put forward a southern candidate |

NetbizBoss:That is not justice, did Nigerians do anything to the SE that the SE need justice? NE and NC has not become president, what's so special about the SE? |

ottersberger:Even if true, would he be different to many others, perhaps including yourself, desperately wanting their kinsman to become President whether fit or not for the position? Take it from me that those winning big today in Nigeria are the realist who accept thing for what they are and refrain from acting like Saints to then be castigating others for what all Nigerians are guilty of. |

onatisi:Let me ask you a straight question. Are you poorer than you were in2022? The less privileged students who got student loan wont reason that way. The SS who stand to benefit immensely from Lagos Calabar coastal road won't reason same way. The Southern Kaduna people who are now free from wanton killing and abduction would not reason same way. The same Nigerians who appreciate long term investments won't see it that way. The top business people like Dangote who cannot comfortably invest in refinery with sure returns of their investment won't reason same way. |

ottersberger:Fair point. Perhaps you know said poster better than I do. Yet my point is that Nigerians are hypocrites claiming other alone are prejudiced and bigoted whereas they are the same or worse. It is tiresome. Better we do reality to admit we hate each other and are prejudiced against other ethnicities. Perhaps then we can devise socio-economic system that work for the reality of our nation instead of forming holier-than-thou under the joke called 'one Nigeria. |
