gohf:When your Jesus was strung up at Calvary (according to your records) was he calling out that Alphabet you posted as God's name?.. Was he or did he? What was that name he was recorded he called upon? Eli, Eli or Eloi, Eloi... Remember he spoke Aramaic, did he suddenly forgot his Father's name or "his" own heavenly name when he uttered those words? Padre, face your Man worshipping faith and leave the Muslims alone! |

Lukuluku69:how unintelligent of a response, what does Eli, my God have to do with Al which doesn't mean God in Arabic. Do Hebrew say that Eli or eloi is the name of God. Guy I am not holding you do whatever you want with your life, many people will perish because of lies, but because you don't care doesn't mean others shouldn't |

gohf:Mr. Intelligent Responder, when your Man god was strung up, he called on Eli, Eloi, and not YHWH or Jehovah. If you are intelligent at all, that should point you to something... Remember he spoke Aramaic |

gohf:Lol You know Jesus is not God? Good for you. But Jesus knows God, did he not? Why did he not call God by God's name Jehovah? Or he should just recite the Alphabet YHWH when he called on God? |

gohf:First, let’s clear up your misunderstanding about the name Allah. ‘Allah’ simply means The One True God — it’s not a new invention by Muslims. Arab Christians and Jews used this exact word for centuries before Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Even today, Arab Christians pray to Allah and their Bibles say Allah where yours says ‘God.’ So this linguistic point is shallow. Second, the idea that YHWH (Yahweh) is a ‘proper name’ that must be used is also misguided. The Israelites used YHWH to express God’s eternal, self-sustaining nature (I AM WHO I AM), but the Qur’an confirms that Allah is the same One God of Abraham, Moses, and all prophets. He has many Beautiful Names and Attributes — His reality isn’t limited to how one language pronounces His name. Now, about the prophets’ names: the reason you see names like Zakariya (Zechariah) and Ilyas (Elijah) in Arabic is because they’re the same historical individuals, with their names naturally rendered in the language of the Qur’an. For example: Zakariya means ‘God has remembered’ — that’s Yah Zakar El in Hebrew roots. Ilyas means ‘My God is Yahweh’ (Eliyahu in Hebrew). But these names don’t imply that we worship a different deity. They simply show continuity: these were prophets sent to the Children of Israel, using the language and context of their people. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came as the final Messenger to all nations, calling people back to the same One God they called upon — the God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad — Allah, the Eternal and Unique. If some confused individuals claim ‘Allah is not YHWH,’ they’re only confused by semantics. Allah is the same One God, whether you say Elohim, YHWH, God Almighty, or Allah. We just reject the later distortions: that God ‘became a man,’ or that He needs a son to forgive sins. That’s the real break from the clear monotheism of Moses and the prophets. |

gohf:Lol So, Eli, Eloi meaning "My God" in the Aramaic means YHWH or Jehovah? Simply irredeemably lost people. Eloha, Alaha, Elaha, Eloha, Allah can't you see that they are the same? When you vocalise them, are you that slow that they all sound alike and that the difference is only in the Dialects of different ethnicity of the same Semitic Tongue? Are you that slow? |
| Re: Is Allah YHVH? Yes Or No by gohf(op): 2:02pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
CreativeOrbit:first off you have a misunderstanding, I didn't ask you what Allah means nor did I say anything about it being a new invention. Secondly you made no point in your accusations that using YHVH is misguided, because you are being subjective in your view and understanding of the discuss. To show your ingenuity even after dismissing the name of God accepted by the Jews while trying to camouflage it with o there are other beautiful names of God, you state that well Ilyas means ‘My God is Yahweh’ (Eliyahu in Hebrew). But these names don’t imply that we worship a different deity. They simply show continuity: these were prophets sent to the Children of Israel, using the language and context of their people. And you concluded that Allah and "Yahweh" are the same God, now let's cut out all your unnecessary irrelevant digressions. In simple answer, if it is difficult for you to type a simple yes then you are deceiving yourself and trying to deceive others Do you accept that THE ONE TRUE GOD is YHVH? Yes or No |
| Re: Is Allah YHVH? Yes Or No by CreativeOrbit: 3:37pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
gohf:Your attempt to corner the discussion into a simplistic “Yes or No” trap shows you either don’t understand how language and revelation work — or you’re being disingenuous on purpose. Let’s be clear: Muslims worship the One True God — the same Eternal Creator worshipped by Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them all). In the Hebrew scriptures, that Name is rendered as YHWH (Yahweh) to the Children of Israel in their language. In Arabic, the same Eternal God is called “Allah.” So your entire argument hinges on treating the label as if it changes the Essence of God. It doesn’t. God is not bound by one language. He revealed Himself using names people could understand within their own tongues. As the Qur’an says: “And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people, to state clearly for them…” (Qur’an 14:4). So the answer is straightforward: YES — the One True God, the Eternal, Self-Existent Creator, is the same Supreme Being that sent revelation to Israel, and the same One we call “Allah” today. Your error is acting as if your pronunciation or spelling in Hebrew gives you exclusive rights over Him. It doesn’t. If you want a real discussion, stop fixating on transliterations and start asking whether you truly worship that One God alone, without partners, equals, or invented doctrines that contradict His Oneness. That’s the real test of sincerity. |

CreativeOrbit:It is untrue sir. There is no Islamic text that says "Allah MEANS the one true God" If there is, show the evidence of the Meaning. Don't forget that Mohammed's father and Grandfather served "this one true God"! All you need to do is to show anywhere where ANY of the prophets before Mohammed refer to their God as Allah otherwise, you are making yourself believe unsubstantiated claims. CreativeOrbit:Against your claim, here is proof.. Read instead of propagating untruths like your claim that "The Israelites used YHWH to express God’s eternal, self-sustaining nature" Exodus 3:14-15 “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘YHWH, the God of your fathers ... has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever ...” Exodus 6:2-3 “God spoke to Moses and said to him, ‘I am YHWH. I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty [El Shaddai], but by my name YHWH I did not make myself fully known to them.’” The true God says that YHWH is His name forever Mr man. Read!!! The Jews used TITLES for God such as Adonai= Lord, El-ohim, El-Shadai, El-Elyon, Hashim etc BUT God's name remains YHWH (Holy name) Allah has 99 names, which one of these names it YHWH? CreativeOrbit:Zachariah means YHWH Remembers El- or Al- is an old Semitic Language means Deity like Al-LAH= God Lah Al-Lat= god Lat Al-Manat= god Manat CreativeOrbit:The differences is a conclusive proof that we serve different God. God is a TITLE for the Creator Just like President is a TITLE for the Head of a Country The NAME of the President give us the IDENTITY of the president we are speaking about. Donald Trump is a President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a President Vladimir Putin is a President Vladimir Zelensky is a President The same way: Allah is the Name of God Vishnu is the Name of God YHWH is the Name of God. CreativeOrbit:Sorry! This is a wishful thinking exactly like What will you say if the following claimed they worship Allah? -The Ifa worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah -The Chi Ukwu worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah -The Sango worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah -The Ala worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah -The Ikenga worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah Would these claims be TRUE? How would you determine that they are untrue? Sorry, Allah is not YHWH and you know it. You only wish it was TRUE! |
| Re: Is Allah YHVH? Yes Or No by TenQ: 7:47pm On Jun 29, 2025 |
Lukuluku69:El- means Deity in Aramaic. El-i means My Deity or My God Jesus did NOT call His Father by Name, He said My God, My God.... I guess I should remind you that in semitic languages like Arabic, Aramaic and Hebrew, The words El- is used interchangeably with Al- depending on the dialect mean DEITY Thus as Muslims, the real name of your Deity is LAH! Al-Lah= God Lah Al-Lat= god Lat Al-Manat= god Manat Al-Uzza= god Uzza Al-Muharriq = god Muharriq Qur'an 1:1 In the name of LAH, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful Sorry! |

CreativeOrbit:You definitely hate the truth. You told lies about the name YHWH and you were corrected with evidence that contrary to your claim that "The Israelites used YHWH to express God’s eternal, self-sustaining nature" YHWH is actually the ETERNAL Name of God! You were asked a simple basic question: Allah has 99 names, which one of these names it YHWH? Instead of answering, you considered it a provocation! I asked you: What will you say if the following claimed they worship Allah? -The Ifa worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah -The Chi Ukwu worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah -The Sango worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah -The Ala worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah -The Ikenga worshipper claiming that his God is also Allah Would these claims be TRUE? AND How would you determine that they are untrue? All these are PROVOCATIONS!? Just tell me you have no Evidence for your manufactured claims. Without lies, Islam dies! |

CreativeOrbit:my error? Okay what is the Arabic spelling of. YHVH Jehovah/Yahweh Tell us, because you can't reply without your spirit of false accusations Elijah means Yah is his God, not songo nor Buddha. If you agree that Yahweh is the one true God it means that the Tanakh is true and the revelations and prophecies in them are true, especially the book of Genesis which your Quran contradicts a lot of it. |
| Re: Is Allah YHVH? Yes Or No by honesttalk21: 9:16pm On Jul 02, 2025 |
This name, which comes from the root H-Y-H meaning "to be," signifies "He Who Is" or "The Eternal." It's revealed in the phrase: "I AM WHO I AM" (Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh) – Exodus 3:14 Out of deep respect, Jews ceased to pronounce it, opting instead to use Adonai (Lord) in conversation. Claiming that one must use YHVH instead of Allah shows a kind of linguistic absolutism that isn't backed by the Qur'an or rational monotheism. It overlooks the fact that all prophets—from Moses to Yeshua to Muḥammad (peace be upon him)—called upon the same One God, albeit in different languages. Allah" isn't just a generic term like "god" (which translates to ilāh in Arabic). It's a distinct proper name for God. Whether you call upon Allah or refer to the Most Merciful (al-Raḥmān), remember that whichever name you choose—His names are the most beautiful. (Quran 17:110) |
