What is the total voting population of Edo state? What was his the total voter turnout in his own gubernatorial election?
Using state money for campaigning for presidential reelection doesn't translate to votes cast.
Even if he wants to manufacture it, it is still not possible in Edo state.

Let him face governance.

Despite all the rigging and monetary inducement during the gubernatorial election, he couldn't even get up to 500k votes for himself, yet he's planning on getting 2.5 million votes for Tinubu that is disliked with passion in Edo, somebody should inform President Tinubu that these people are taking him for a ride, in a free and fair election APC would hardly be able to win a councillorship sit in Edo.

Oga, it is normal political talk. It has nothing to do with illiteracy. All politicians always exaggerate what they can do or deliver so forget that side. He is just trying to say that he will deliver totally to him which is what Tinubu wants to hear....

Obaseki couldn't deliver because firstly he has no personal structure or crowd or capacity. He is not a grassrooted politician. He got elected through oshiomhole personae and got reelected through pity votes, protest votes and massive alignments. But he cannot replicate this for another person.
Secondly, he wasn't deeply into Atiku. During the campaigns, he said Edo is obidients. He was dangling between Lp and PDP because of the struggle for structure between him and Wike faction. He sponsored Edo Lp to a large extent..

Thirdly, Edo voters are very independent minded, fierce, aggressive and difficult. They are the most obidient state in SS alongside delta. There's little a politician can do to sway them esp in Edo South that is highly urbanised. Even oshiomhole struggled to deliver Edo north...

Tinubu may not win Edo State but he will surely get good votes this time around with almost all stakeholders in Apc
