I agree with everything you said but I don’t think it was injury that ruined Ansu. I mean, injury is part of the game.

Surely, I don’t know the inside details but it was reported that he had surgery on the same injury spot for over 5 times due to various mistakes and setbacks and his refusal of club’s medical advice during that period. This was why a 3 month recovery period took him over 15 months to recover.

Of course, the trauma of that saga had denied him the opportunity to regain the full trust of his body. With every failed surgery, his acceleration and natural instinct were being chipped away slowly until he lost everything.

Definitely, the club gave him opportunities to try to regain what was left of his confidence and natural abilities but ultimately he has to look to his family and his handlers at the time, for all the wrong decisions they took for him while he laid on hospital bed in various countries.

Injuries are part of players career but ultimately it was the management of the injury that would define how it would affect the player and his career.

I pray Lamine Yamal and his handlers, makes all the best decisions for him and put his career first amongst any other considerations

See, if Nico to Barca is not a done deal, Atletic Bilbao will not be acting the way they were acting last week. It was because they knew they already lost the player. That was why they started making noise to distract their fans from the impending departure of their star boy. Forget all the new noise coming from clickbait Barca twitter pages. Barca still have over a month to worry about player's registrations. Of course, i want them to sort things out as soon as possible but if we can sign the player, we will register him and he will play.
