No Nigerian Politician is a Saint. None!. All of them are not incorruptible, some are devils. Most are merchants of evil. Regardless of this ugly pictures been painted about our thiefing leaders, we all believe that there are actually a few among them who are "Lesser Devils". This is where His Excellency, Peter OBI comes to mind. As it stands, OBI remains the most popular, sellable and widely accepted Politician in Nigeria today. And it will be an act of political mishap, miscalculation and Suicide to allow OBI Deputize For Atiku. You can't make the more popular candidate to be a running mate of a less popular candidate.
Nigerians want to see OBI spearheading the flag of any party he wishes to contest under in 2027. And I feel Atiku should rather deputize for OBI. ATIKU must swallow his Pride.
I'm sure OBI supporters who voted him in 2023 under the umbrella of the Labor Party will not do same if their darling OBI decided to Be a Vice-presidential candidate.
OBI deputizing for Atiku in 2027 would hand Tinubu and APC a flawless and effortless victory.

Atiku the 5 times presidential Aspirant and failure should support Obi come 2027. Simple.

Atiku enjoyed massive support in 2019 against Buhari for a fact that it was considered the North turn to rule.

He should reciprocate thesame gesture and support Obi come 2027 as it is the South turn to rule.

Common sense. When Will Atiku Sacrifice for his party PDP that has given him so much even with all his betrayal to party.

Atiku is never as popular as he think of himself. Atiku has proven to be highly unstrategic in politics.

He should have been a president by now if he stood by Jonathan in 2014, but he jumped ship, ..... ... joined APC and quickly discovered how irrelevant and redundant he is in APC and ran back to PDP, was forgiven and given massive support in 2019, yet he failed, in 2023 considered the south turn, he contested and failed again. what more does Atiku want.

By this declaration, dear OP, you’ve handed victory to APC and Tinubu. Nigerian politics is deeper than you think. Even if the elections will be 100% free and fare, it will be difficult for Peter Obi to win. The voting numbers belong to Nigerians who will do anything to stop an Igbo man to be president.

As half bread is better than nothing, Obi should accept to be Atiku’s vice. There are great chances of them winning. Let’s not throw away the baby with the bathwater.

I share some of your sentiments too! Peter Obi shouldn't deputise for Atiku! If Atiku can't support Peter Obi then Peter Ob should either go it alone or forget the entire thing! He won the last presidential election, but didn't have the structure, especially in the north, to protect his votes from the urban bandit-in-chiefs remorseless rigging machinery!

The best option is for Peter Obi to deputize Atiku Abubakar.
The mistake of 2023 where they all worked differently should not be allowed to repeat itself.
Both Atiku, Peter Obi and Kwankwaso should work together to defeat Tinubu.
All these writeups are geared towards discouraging the coalition.
If you consider Peter Obi deputizing Atiku as his worst mistake then it will have to be his own mistake and not yours so allow him make his mistake.

Is for the highest bidder. He should then allow someone who can take the bull by the horn.The SW president has seen that weakness. You can only defend your vote in nigeria on the street .He can negotiate economic benefits for SE in the coalition. I don't believe the SE must produce the president in next election. The most important thing is to remove SW president in next election first.

That's not how it works, you don't tell a person not to exercise theur constitutional to vote, or be voted for, who does that in a democracy?
