I have observed that my Nairaland Monika TENQ is "biasedly" NEGATIVELY targeted especially on the religious section of Nairaland. It doesn't matter if it was a TEXT or an IMAGE it receives a Ban irrespective of what is written. Are Nairaland bots programmed to read image texts using OCR? I doubt. When I post using my friends account, the Bots seem not to know that it is the same me making the posts. Seun, I ask you to just check. I suspect someone has done some things to the Bot rules behind your back. Who else have noticed this on their Posts? I will not be surprised if this post is banned as usual! |

Lol... I understand your feelings, but you still need to understand that it's "their business, their rules". |

projectreserve2:I understand why there should be SpamBots on Nairaland. I also know that the Spambots will make mistakes Unfortunately, 1. when a SpamBot is always activated whenever I post something as HARD EVIDENCE against islam, it is activated. 2. The Spambots seems to be able to read scanned images with text which I doubt: meaning that a human being is actually triggering up some of these Bot activities 3. I have seen some of my posts deleted about 11 hours after the initial post (second day): this should not be spambots at work but humans Seun can easily check it. If itis the same rules for everybody, no problem BUT if the spambot rules are skewed against some people, then there is a big problem. |

dollytino4real:It is frustrating. If this continues , I may have to leave nairaland altogether. But Seun can easily check it. All he need to do is to check posts placed on ban and check why the spambot was triggered. He can also check if the threshold value for everyone is the same. I suspect that someone with administrative right did this especially for people on the religious section: this is FRAUD! |

I think that nairaland Bots should be triggered for 1. Obscene words 2. Insults to persons 3. Suspicion of long copy-paste from the internet 4. Tribalistic slurs to other's ethnicity It shouldn't be triggered for posting ARABIC scripts It shouldn't be triggered for having opinions different from others especially about faith and religion |

TenQ:It is mainly targeted at people not supporting this government mainly Igbo. |

TenQ:I noticed it too...i cannot comment in some sections while at others i cannot make short comments. This place sucks |
| Re: Seun: Are Nairaland Bots Rigged Against Some Specific Members? by bdon123(m): 2:33pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
Malroux:This is very true....if it seems ur comments is aginst this government, bots begin to screen everything u write here |
| Re: Seun: Are Nairaland Bots Rigged Against Some Specific Members? by TenQ(op): 3:49pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
Malroux:I don't know about that but I am convinced that someone who hates the way I show evidences against Lies propagated by Muslims and has administrative rights is skewing the threshold against some of us. Seun can easily check this with my moniker: so many needless ban! |
| Re: Seun: Are Nairaland Bots Rigged Against Some Specific Members? by TenQ(op): 3:51pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
bdon123:There was a time my Original post AND the comments by others (about 10) were altogether REMOVED from Nairaland. This cannot be a Bot but a human being doing this. |
| Re: Seun: Are Nairaland Bots Rigged Against Some Specific Members? by TenQ(op): 5:02pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
bdon123:I know that Nairaland bots are programmed against tribal slurs but I am not sure if it is programmed against comments against the government. Except if someone amongst the admins of Nairaland has his sights on you. |
| Re: Seun: Are Nairaland Bots Rigged Against Some Specific Members? by TenQ(op): 5:17pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
Seun please check 1. Selective enforcement of spam rules targeting certain users. 2. Unjust bans or post removals disproportionately affecting those members. Thanks |

projectreserve2:Oga we are stake holders in this site, at such we should have a say. If it's their business, then they shouldn't have made it public |

Here is an example that Nairaland bots should never flag. Only a human can flag this kind of post. This was because I wrote a post about the incessant ban

Another one. Tell me how a SpamBot can Identify the personality that I am referring to here.

TenQ:I guarantee u its against d government becos i rarely make tribal slurs |
| Re: Seun: Are Nairaland Bots Rigged Against Some Specific Members? by TenQ(op): 8:44pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
bdon123:I guess then it could be that the sensitivity threshold for each registered user is not equal. The implication is that if one of the admins of Nairaland dislike you, he can adjust your threshold trigger to a point where any post you make would be triggered by the bots. Seun should take note of this unfair and unethical activity |

you never see anything! Me wey dem dash 10 yrs ban for Allahu akbah section nko? ![]() |
| Re: Seun: Are Nairaland Bots Rigged Against Some Specific Members? by TenQ(op): 4:40am On Jul 02, 2025 |
MichaelSokoto:Seun 1. Can you make a ban contestable so that an agrieved can make a redress? 2. Can your bots also state the exact reasons why they get triggered by a post? This two will help the algorithms |
| Re: Seun: Are Nairaland Bots Rigged Against Some Specific Members? by TenQ(op): 6:40am On Jul 02, 2025 |
Here is another snippet of the conversation that was deleted and TenQ placed on a ban. The question I will like Seun to answer is: From this post, what activated the Nairaland SpamBots to flag the post

TenQ:I tink so too...becos this nairaland is becoming so ridiculous as i hardly make comments again.its either d site doesn't let u make short comments of 6 words or u are blocked frm making comments in politics. |
| Re: Seun: Are Nairaland Bots Rigged Against Some Specific Members? by TenQ(op): 3:10am On Jul 06, 2025 |
bdon123:I am gradually withdrawing myself from Nairaland. I will just read about events without contributing. It is a waste of time for some of us who write almost on daily basis. Seun shouldn't play ignorance to this effect |
