A good coach uses his best players because the target is to win games and amass points on the log.
The simple point is that as good a player as Victor Oshimen is,he comes with a lot of unwanted baggage. The circus of so called Nigerian Internet influencers he rolls with is an clear and obvious distraction that no serious coach would want in his camp. The fact that no serious club wants to sign him except for short loan deals is self explanatory.

Honestly everybody let's tell ourselves the truth or should I say what I am 80% thinking is playing out here.
No coach will have a world class player like Osimhen and rejects him.
Honestly to my own believe, Conte is playing out a script for the club owners and fans who I may presume think Osimhen has offended them by wanting a transfer away from the club. If my memory is correct, when Conte was signed last season by Napoli. He said he likes Osimhen but the situation is out of his control cus Osimhen and the board has already had agreement that he will leave. And truly speaking the relationship between Osimhen and Napoli board and fans has really deteriorated beyond and repair and you won't blame Conte for going the direction of his employers.
