In 2023, Atiku, as PDP presidential candidate won 2 of the 17 states in the southern part of the country: Bayelsa and Osun states. He is not running on that platform this time. He is going to contest on the platform of ADC. The Bayelsa state governor who delivered the small but oil rich state to him has been asked by his assembly members to leave the party for APC and he will leave. It is true that he has only one vote but Atiku will understand how important that one vote is when ADC fails to make any significant impact in the state in the 2027 presidential race. He will not get 25% of vote that will be cast in that state. And if a candidate who won a state in 2023 fails to get 25% four years later, then he'll understand better. PDP will also lose that state in 2027. In Osun state, no matter what happens, ADC will not win the state. Rather, Atiku's 11k margin in 2023 will turn to a big loss in 2027. Adeleke, if he remains in PDP or whoever APC presents in 2026 will most likely deliver the state to APC. ADC will perform woefully in Cross River where Liyel Imoke is the leader of the coalition. Akwa Ibom state is also already APC. Josephine Anenih and Tom Ikimi can not pull Edo state for ADC where we have Oshiomole, Governor Okpebholo, Philip Shuaibu and others. I do not know who they are counting on in Delta state as Atiku's running mate in 2023 has since followed Governor Sheriff to APC. Rivers state suspended governor has since left the Atiku camp. No one reckons with Uche Secondus and the former interim governor, Celestine Omehia in Rivers state and even Amaechi who couldn't deliver when he was not hungry. The whole of SE will vote for Obi wherever he goes but he won't get 90-95% they wrote for him this time especially in Imo and Enugu states. ADC will not have any significant number of votes in the SW in 2027. PDP will even do better than them. I do not see Atiku winning any state in the south in 2027. I do not even see him getting 25% in most of those states. In the north, Lamido will not be able to deliver Jigawa state for ADC. Another of his top men, Mark will fail to deliver Benue state. Tambuwal will only succeed in depleting PDP votes in Sokoto state and that will not affect APC. Malami is more of a political liability than asset in Kebbi state. Babangida Aliyu will be trounced by the network of Governor Bagu in Niger state. El-Rufai will not be able to deliver Kaduna state. I have since noticed that no grassroot political mobilizer has joined him in SDP since he joined the party. Posting Aregbesola's acceptance speech as the national secretary of ADC will not give him victory in the Liberal State. Plateau, Kogi, FCT and Nasarawa won’t follow Atiku and his ADC. For Atiku himself to win Adamawa, he will have to do a lot of work. PDP would have been a better platform but the party is in ruins and he doesn't possess to ability, capacity and the will to fix the party due to his self centeredness. The truth of the matter is that these desperate man will end up making the 2027 presidential election a lot easier for the incumbent, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Fear and trepidation all over the place. Tinubu's camp is in disarray. So Delta and Akwa Ibom are now APC simply because their governors betrayed the people's mandate and decamped to APC against the wishes of the electorates? |

AMINDA:It seems you are not in the South presently. There is no state in the South, that Atiku and his marabout party can garner 10% of the votes. ( I am being generous with that number)... The general sentiments here, is that power remains in the South till 2031. And no Jupiter can alter it. |

NgeneUkwenu:Lies. The general sentiment is "Tinubu must go". Tell us the exact State in the South that you currently are. You cannot be in Yorubaland and be saying the South. The South agitating for Southern presidency is not equivalent to wanting Tinubu. For the umpteenth time, Tinubu is not the face of the Southern candidacy, he remains the muslim-muslim candidate. Nothing has changed. |

Politicstoday:Allow ADC to fail in peace You think you are wiser than than the coalition? What you don't know about Nigeria style of politics is bigger than you North is the rigging house when it comes to Nigeria election & Tinubu can see it clearly that he is likely gonna lose rigging advantage from the north, this is why he gagged Rivers state by removing Fubara unjustly PDP members are leaving the party so wike can do whatever he likes with the party The coming election is between Tinubu and Nigerians, not even now political opponents Tinubu have realized how imminent loss from the north and that's why he wants to capture the southern state but I can tell you for free that he will lose in Osun, Oyo, & Lagos state even with massive rigging, thuggery because Nigerians are prepared for him. Those southern governors collecting Ghana must go dollars from Tinubu will be on their own. SE & some parts of South West is locked for Peter Obi (I can tell you emphatically) North is locked for northern candidates Let Tinubu brings kwankwaso as running mate, & let's see 😂 If the coalition get it right & put personal interest aside, Tinubu will fail woefully come 2027 |

Politicstoday:If we are to go by your rant, Tinubu will win at least 25 states out of the 36 states in 2027. This will be an 100% increase in states won for him than he did in 2023 when he could only win 12 states. This is based on the strenght of the opposition according to you. The problem is you have not factored in Tinubu's performance in office which directly affects most ordinary Nigerians. What I suspect is you're basing your permutation on the ability of politicians to "win" their states for their party and not the willingness of the electorate to vote a candidate If that is the case, keep it up then |

COALITION IN ADC: MY WORDS OF ADVICE FOR ỌGBẸNI AREGBESOLA The Atiku faction of the opposition coalition have adopted ADC as their final abode. Congratulations to them. David Mark is their Protem National Chairman and Ọgbẹni Aregbesola is their Protem National Secretary. I don't have issues with David Mark, Atiku or any politician who wish to join forces with one another to tackle President Tinubu. It is their personal choices, and so be it. Opposition, as they say, is the spice of democracy. The opposition gives the ruling party a run for their money. This adds flavour to the polity and politics. However, the only person I have issues with is our own Ogbeni Abdur-Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, Ọmọ Iya Olobi. First, I don't blame Ọgbẹni Aregbesola for the choice he has made. He is at liberty to pitch a tent or team up with whomsoever he wishes. Ọgbẹni is not a greenhorn in politics. I call him Agba Oselu Baba Kabiru. Nevertheless, what I will say to Aregbe is "et tu, Brute"? Those who are vast in literature understand me, but I will explain it to those who do not. The quote appears in Act 3 Scene 1 of William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar, where it is spoken by the Roman Dictator, Julius Caesar, at the moment of his assassination, to his friend Marcus Junius Brutus, upon recognizing him as one of the assassins. I will say the same thing to Ọgbẹni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola. Et tu, Ọgbẹni? This is a Latin phrase, literally meaning "and you, Ogbeni?" or "you as well, Ọgbẹni?" or "you too, Ọgbẹni?" There are some things an ọmọluabi should not be found in. Ti wọn ba rànni ni iṣẹ ẹru, o ye ka fi t'ọmọ jẹ. Ọjọ ore pẹ; aṣiwere gbàgbé. Anyway, bi ore ba sọnu, ìrègún làá fi wàa. Try to understand me. I can never call Ọgbẹni aṣiwere. Never! It's beyond me. I am just using the adage to buttress my points. It shouldn't be a whole Aregbe that will be found in this kind of messy situations. It is quite sad and unfortunate that the person (the late Alaafin) who could talk to him is no more alive. So, a day like this has come when Aregbesola will be leading or presiding over meetings and campaigns where Asiwaju's downfall will be hatched and designed? What will his conscience be telling him? How would it sound to him, on the eve of 2027 presidential election, when he's toiling and exerting himself to the fullest and someone asked him "what are you doing", and Aregbe would answer "I'm plotting the downfall of Asiwaju Tinubu"? Haaaaa! What lessons is he teaching us, his longtime admirers? Has Ogbeni forgotten the old ties and relationships between him and Asiwaju - a relationship no one on the surface of the earth could interpret? Has Ogbeni forgotten their joint struggles in the hard times when it was only him and Asiwaju, and no third party was present or involved except God? No one can tell me he has swiftly forgotten those nostalgic moments. Ọgbẹni Aregbesola should remember that single day, the 26th of November 2010, when he was sworn-in as the Executive Governor of Osun State, after a long and protracted legal tussle to regain his stolen mandate. On that very day, I listened to Ọgbẹni on OSBC when he said "lẹyìn ti mo ti dupẹ fún Ọlọhun, mo fẹ fi àsìkò yìí dupẹ l'ọwọ Oga mi, alaanu mi, olóore mi, Asiwaju Bọla Ahmed Tinubu, ọla wọn ni mo fi di gómìnà ìpínlẹ̀ Òsun". He stated further: Asiwaju o gba nkankan l'ọwọ mi. Ẹ ṣe mo dupẹ. If he has forgotten every other things, he should not forget that particular day. That day should remain eternal in his heart. I'm stating this, so as to let our people know how deeply and extensively Asiwaju had lifted and stood by Aregbesola in critical times of needs. Should it be that same Ọgbẹni, that Asiwaju gave his all for his success, that will be teaming up with his enemies to work against? Honestly, human beings can be so complex. Copied

Even in south west people are tired with your APC and your personal Lord and savior Tinubu. Go to Akwaibom and say those things of yours and collect beating of your life even with their governor as APC. Someone scattered the whole country and you still want people to vote him? You think most people think like you that is only interested in what you get as political jobber? The people will vote not governors and propaganda. |

Those comparing the gang of expired politicians called Atiku’s Dead Coalition(ADC) with the emergence of the APC need to refresh their memories. 1. APC didn’t hijack any party because it has its own parties that were willing to deregister themselves and form APC. These parties were ACN, CPC and ANPP. These three parties submitted their certificates back to INEC and deregister themselves after holding public consultations with all their members across the zones, televised live! These three parties are the APC. 2. Atiku has always been a faction in the PDP. His PDP faction who now called themselves ADC today, had in 2014, joined a group of disgruntled PDP Governors to form nPDP which was eventually led by Saraki from where he snatched the Senate Presidency. nPDP folks were joiners nor formers. Unfortunately, these joiners are now ADC. 3. The party leadership positions were shared among the formers of the APC. They weren’t announced angrily in a disorganized manner by the joiners! 4. APC didn’t adopt any party’s constitution and manifesto, the party wrote its own! 5. As at formation, APC had about 20 Governors and majority in the NASS especially the House of Representatives. 6. The APC has two main leaders. Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu. APC wasn’t formed using their assumed allies or traitors, APC was formed by these two leaders themselves!

A similar template of coalition was used against GEJ. What happened thereafter? Has Nigeria become like Dubai? I will keep saying it even if they try to silence me, that this whole thing of "we are trying to save Nigeria" is nothing but a scam. These people just want power and the opportunity to plunder the country. The first step forward is a sovereign national conference and a people's constitution. Anything short is just like running around in a circle. |

Peter Obi alone is bigger than thosestate governors you mentioned. The coalition is only aimed at taming APC rigging tactics. Forget about where votes will come from. Impoverished Nigerians are the real structure! |

I don't even have any issues with these set of recycled politicians, but my question remains, what can this people do differently? These are men who have held various positions in the past. Tinubu will bad but u see this people, they will be worst. They removed Jonathan and sold buhari as saint but we all knew the outcome. This men will still perform worst than Tinubu. Even if Obi or atiku won 2023 election, everything happening today will still happen, u can't remove fuel subsidy and float naira and expect things to be the same on a shot period. Obi and atiku promised what tinubu is doing today. I was surprised watching obi saying he will transform Nigeria in less than 2years , indeed Nigerians have shot memory. Before you bash me, I no follow una dey una Nigeria, both me and my family. |
