U must be very happy by now, tell me u don't have this kind of buildings in ur locality, Nigeria is healing up gradually, you don't expect wike to do all this in 2yrs,oga go and sit down jare, anytime u see any topic like this u take it as an opportunity to get cheap political negative point
You must be kidding me! Just funds wasted on vanity projects like sprucing up the VP residence and conference center is enough to attend to the immediate and most pressing needs of most if not.all public primary and secondary schools in Abuja! The problem is that the arseholes in-charge are out of their depth and only found themselves in positions of authority owing to their adeptness in political chicanery and thuggery that’s the hallmark of Nigerian partisan-politics!

I don't play those tribal games here. I am interested in Nigeria and a better Nigeria for all of us. Show me the united state building like this that is a public school.

And let's even imagine the US has a school like this, does that make it right? Why do you accept trash and do work pass LAWMA? Are you comfortable with a lifestyle of trash? Please go back and reflect on yourself, let's leave Nairaland out of this. You deserve better than your state of mind and what you want to defend. I wish you better than you wish yourself.

True! But you first have to value something to have the desire to maintain it!

Where are the students and staff. One abandon structure it seems!
I am sure, no official statement will be sought before publishing this?

Imagine this kind of unsightly structure as a learning for students in the FCT. Meanwhile, the same Nyesom Wike & APC miscreants in their delusional belief think billions should be spent on useless glossy projects like the presidential car/yatch/jet, NASS, ICC, unused VP lodge, yet this place among many place demanding attention should be left unattended to. What a misplaced priority.
And someone is in St. Lucia offering them scholarships.

Wike the Mr project indeed it's a shame that we have this type of delapitated school facilities in our capital while our president is busy giving St. Lucia students scholarship to the USA undecided . This administration is clueless with lots of misplaced priorities

Nigerians don't want to know the true solution to this issue, and telling them will only make them annoyed, and since both apc and pdp and obident e-rats are all campaigning on this thread, I bid them adieu.

All I will say is, face reality, and face reality. cheesy
Re: Junior Secondary School Kilankwa, Abuja, With Cracked Walls, Collapsing Beams by nairalanda1(m): 12:49pm On Jul 02, 2025
Okay, let us repair the school. Done.

The problem is , Nigerians will then assume that once the school is fixed it will remain that way for the next 20 years.

Like we won't need to pay for repairs, renovations and so on.

That's why everyone who is on this thread does not get it.

I have said enough

Stop sounding like an unrepentant mediocre. That the US has dilapidated school structures isn't an excuse for us to have the same.

For once, the blacks should be thinking like people who genuinely want teach the world something unique.

This is where Peter Obi rules. Unfortunately Nigerians like their chains. Obi would rather have all schools functional and maintained than to build fresh ones to score political goals but Nigerians would have asked for a new school. Those small community health centers are more effective than one magnificent structure in Abuja that benefits just few. First things first, you need a classroom before a white board or projector.

Why do you want me to do this? Are you doubting the Guardian Newspaper report? Are you suggesting they just brought a dilapidated structure and wrote a report about it?

Are you sure you read the news?
