He was the presidential candidate of ANPP in 2003 and 2007.

In 2010, he left ANPP and founded CPC, where he contested again in 2011.

Then in 2013, CPC merged with other parties to form the APC, which he later won the presidency under in 2015.


So yes, Buhari did jump parties more than once.

Combining Both peter obi and atiku votes far surpassed that of Tinubu.
So Tinubu narrowly won.
