I saw reports that it happened when they overtaking another car, which means they were probably accelerating at top speed.

Then the road surface too.

It’s the handling of the vehicle after the tyre blow that’s the real koko. Plenty people like to speed, but not enough people know what to do in situations like that. RIP Jota!

Boss when e wan sup e go sup. We all know death is no respecter of any mortal. He'll have been running those speeds until that unfortunate hour. That's how some soldiers survive battle fields only to die for less away from it. That's why all we pray for long life and the will to leave an impact during our time in this plane cause life is fickle.

An unfortunate way to go. I just saw his brother that died with him is also a footballer in Portuguese second division. One mother has lost two successful sons in one day while a woman has turned to a widow under 2 weeks. This news just ruined my day man. 💔
