FCT Minister Nyesom Wike discloses details of a major revenue shift at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja.

He revealed that a private operator was paying just ₦50 million annually, but after the government reclaimed control, the FCT generated ₦650 million in just three weeks.

650m in two weeks? That is astonishing. Even though is a matter of contract, the private contractor need to be investigated.

The 650 million naira might not be for a year, remember it has been booked till 2027

If it's 650 million yearly it would take about 56 years to recover the cost of renovation.
You know what, the 650 million would not be net profit. If you reduce costs of administration and other expenses, annual profit might come down to 500million.

If you ask me, I would tell you it's a bad investment. Wike will not spend his own hard earned money for that kind of business

na greed cause am. Because a black man and greed na five and six. Any body that is greedy lacks love in his or her heart. And Mr Atiku who now wants to 'rescue' Nigeria is a grand master in underselling Nigerian assets to his friends and cronies.

As Vice President, he was in charge of privatisation. Under him, many large government corporations were sold off at give away prices to dem dem.

More that 20 years later, online ADC supporters, many of who were probably still babies when Mr Atiku was Vice President, are now telling us he is the messiah Nigeria has been waiting for.
