The problem lays with the discos that refuse to supply prepaid meters to the consumers so as to ensure no one owes them any money. In the past, in the days of analogue meter, every house has a meter. There was nothing like estimated billing that time. So how do we get to the point of estimated billing today. They refused to supply prepaid meters to consumers so that they can cheat them with estimated billing

No wonder our electric bill payment was not acknowledged even after the payment to IBDC.!!! The response we got from the office was that there are legal tussle going on. Some snakes want to swallow the bill for April 2025.

Apart from prepaid meter, there is also postpaid meter too.

- that the Sales Proceed Will Go into the Designated Accounts and
- that Genuine Investors- with global Experience in 💡 Electricity and Competitive and Experienced People - will be the True Yardsticks - so we should Expect Performance in the New Dispensation of Ibadan Disco.
• All the 2- DISCOS in Lagos State Should Follow,as they have not Performed to the Expectations of Lagosians As more Darkness are being Experienced.
- So , shortages of Transformers and Prepaid Metres are rampant.

But it was in the open, bid was announced, bid was opened publicly, if their friend bidded should they say no and give the offer to their enemies. Now you don't even know who it was sold to,if money was paid, the last I heard was court cases going on. You know everyone felt carried along during President Obasanjo's time , and I still believe he's still has the best record since our prolonged democratic journey. It doesn't mean there was no corruption.
