Yeah, but priority is given to those who wrote the skill test for that position. So far, I haven't seen anyone who didn't write a skill test for a position and got interview invite for that position. I stand to be corrected though.

Go a bit back in the thread and you will see it, the first set of invitations. It doesn’t even make sense that they will come back after interview is done to invite those that didn’t write test for that particular position

In February 2024, after applying for the ExxonMobil Graduate engineer role, the application status on my profile was "Application under review". Roughly two weeks after, I was shortlisted for test in March, but at the time, there was a nationwide network issue due to damaged subsea telecom cable, so I didn't bother taking it since I couldn't find an alternative means of writing the test confidently.

The shocking observation is that for over a year, I never received a regret email, neither did my status change, until May this year when my new applications went into consideration, that was when that application of last year changed from "Application under review" to "No longer under consideration" and I still did not receive a regret email after this change.

So, "application under review" and "application received" don't mean anything. They can appear on your profile anywhere between when you applied and the end of the entire hiring process (whether before or after the test, and whether or not you write the test). They can even remain unchanged after people have resumed office for that role and collected 1 year salary, until you apply to a new role at a later time.

This is very true...I have an application that is still showing "application under review" since last year when the recruitment is already over.they didn't even send regret mail whatsoever.
In this current application, one of the roles I didn't write the test is showing " application under review" after i applied for the position.

Once you write the test for a particular position, ExxonMobil must surely update you on that position within the time frame of the recruitment process. But, if you were shortlisted for aptitude test for a position and you didn't/couldn't write the test, the status can remain as 'Application Under Review' forever. Also, like someone rightly inferred, if you apply for multiple positions and only write for one position, the statuses of the other positions you never wrote for will not change untill you succeed or you are eliminated in the one you sat for. More so, if you apply for a position and was not shortlisted for aptitude test, ExxonMobil doesn't normally waste time in updating your status as 'application no longer under consideration '.

I stand to be corrected though if I'm not totally right.

I am yet to see anybody who received the interview invite with application under review status.
