Back in the late '80s, I came home from school to spend the holidays with my sister in Abeokuta. She told me that every night, she kept hearing the sound of some strange creature that came to swallow her chickens. As a "big boy" back then—used to killing small snakes—I told her not to worry. I boldly assured her: “Just wake me up whenever you hear that sound again.”

True to her word, around 1 a.m., she woke me up. Those were the days of lantern light 🏮, so I grabbed it and dashed outside to the chicken cage, ready for action. But what I saw nearly stopped my heart!

Right there, in the faint glow of the lantern, was something that looked like an anaconda! My sister shouted from behind, “Have you killed it?!”

Kill what?? I couldn’t even breathe—afraid that the creature might hear the sound of my breath! I didn’t run o... I took a silent reverse all the way back!.
na those big ones dey easy to kill pass.

That's how justice should be for everything living thing,. "Eye for an eye.". With this principle, life will be so peaceful.
Beautiful!

You don't pet killers and allowed the bereaved to wallow in tears because of the death of their loved ones.

But this is Nigeria, if history is anything to go by, we haven't learn a thing.

If the house or cage in which you built for the birds/fowls is compromised(not properly built), then cats may easily get in!

If I come across this type of snake at night, heaven knows I will run away. I fear snakes die. I'm always on the lookout when ever am walking in a bushy path.

Don’t let that kill your dreams or business idea. You can get some snake repellents to spray around your poultry business.

They have a very keen sense of smell. Try and make your coop or cage snake-proof. They can smell egg and fowl. Anyway, every business get him own risk
