The few people who don’t like him base their opinions of him on primordial tribal and ethno religious sentiments but never on his competence or capability to turn around and deliver Nigeria from the throes of destruction buhari and tinubu did to Nigeria

Reculled. How does Southerners wanting Obi suddenly become tantamount to voting Tinubu. Tinubu is not the Southern candidate, he's the Muslim-Muslim candidate. Heads or tail, Tinubu will still not win the South in 2027 and the North has abandoned him. There is no pathway to his re-election.

For the record, the North gave Tinubu 5.6m votes, gave Atiku 6.9m votes and still gave Kwankwaso 1.5m votes. Even Obi got his fair share of the Northern minority votes. Numbers don't lie. Obi can be the candidate but only through consensus, not threats.

Many Northerners would like to see Obi as President, but the opportunist, Aisha Yesufu, is only salivating at the prospect of being made a minister. If you really love Obi, your support will not be conditional. Even Obi keeps alluding to the fact that ALL the participants in the coalition have agreed to make personal sacrifices to make it a reality.

The coalition is not set up solely to be a special purpose vehicle for the actualization of Peter Obi's ambition. There are other politicians with ambitions too and deservedly so. Peter Obi will participate in the primaries like other candidates. Even Buhari with his 12m cult followers still subjected himself to the primaries of the newly formed APC in 2014.

Tinubu will celebrate if that happens. Politics is not by emotion. Obi cannot defeat Tinubu. When APC supporters are even giving such ideas, then that should have been a danger sign

If after unveiling a coalition Aisha does not know her principal's position in the coalition then she and Obi are jokers not politicians.

Before a coalition talk begins the first question to ask is "What is in there for me". If your own objectives will not be met you don't join them.
