On one hand, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso joining the APC would bring him short-term political advancement as he could possibly become Tinubu’s Vice President in 2027 while also retaining control of Kano state. However, the downside is that joining the APC might diminish his political value and integrity.Source - https://www.thecable.ng/kwankwasos-dilemma/

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is no doubt a heavy weight northern political figure. His greatest undoing is overt pride and arrogance. "I Regret Not Forming Alliance With Peter Obi – Kwankwaso." https://www.reubenabati.com.ng/index.php/component/k2/i-regret-not-forming-alliance-with-peter-obi-kwankwaso |

"As for Tinubu, he only cares about his own political survival. That’s why he’s sidelining Shettima not necessarily because Shettima did anything wrong and why he made Ganduje step down.Someone that was changing deputies like wrapper back then as governor. People really underestimate all the grandiosity inherent in this man when he was saying emilokan, grab it, snatch it and run away with it. |

Kwankwaso will lose half of his Kwankwasiyya supporters if he aligns with Tinubu. He knows it too hence the hesitation. On the other hand, the momentum generated by the ADC will make Tinubu reconsider replacing Shettima. Unfortunately, the damage is already done. Northeast still won't vote Tinubu in 2023. He has also gone ahead in dropping Ganduje, his last remaining loyalist in the North just to attract the now feet-dragging Kwankwaso. |

AMINDA:The NNPP was a political strategy by Tinubu in the last election to reduce the votes that PDP would have earned for Atiku if only you know. Kwankwaso has from day one being in alignment with Tinubu. Not many of you understand this game called politics. |

AMINDA:All I can tell you is that Tinubu have over a very, very long time planted loyalist in every sector you can think of. Him becoming Nigeria's president was based on meticulous planning and execution with a lot of foresight even Datti made this remarks about him. |

He was not in the coalition meeting. I doubt Tinubu will pick him as VP even if he crosses over. |

Rubbish infantile primary school analysis. Kwankwaso has way more to gain by joining the APC than by not joining. He will lose out if he joins this coalition of desperate politicians in ADC. His best bet right now is to join APC because he can't get the Presidential ticket in ADC, and running under NNPP will only serve his ego and nothing else. By joining APC, he has the chance at the VP ticket and can run for President after Tinubu. What is there to lose? Nothing. |

Typing:Politics is permutation. There was a need to bridge the gap in Kano's vote against Atiku's PDP and the best person for the job was Kwankwaso. There was too much sentiment around Ganduje in Kano and that was why Kwankwaso was used to bridge the gap in the Kano election. And it worked so well. |

Softmirror:You are right bro. They are daft to understand. Even the newly formed ADC, is working for Tinubu. When they win the presidential election in 2027, they will hand the presidency to Tinubu. Jagaban knows it all. |
