One year minimum, this is the norm of paramilitary, 2019 set that went to course during pandemic waited almost 1y6ms before movement. 2022 immigration placeholder set was 1 year and 2 months, progress right? 😂

This is a Multilateral Financial Institution, recruitment into establishment like this must follow due protocols as such citizens from member countries of such institutions are given fair chance to the recruitment process, they must have taken off with off taker or seconded staff from AfreximBank and APPO...

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) wishes to inform the general public and all applicants that the shortlist for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) stage of its ongoing recruitment exercise has been released.

Out of the over 573,000 applications received, a total of 65,000 candidates have been shortlisted nationwide to participate in the CBT.

All shortlisted candidates are advised to check their email and SMS regularly from today, July 3, 2025, for specific details regarding the venue and time of their examination.

The CBT will hold on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at JAMB-accredited CBT centres located within each candidate’s state of origin. Candidates are expected to arrive at the centre with their invitation letter for CBT printed from the official website and valid means of identification.

Please note that only candidates who successfully pass the CBT will be invited for the next stage, which is the interview and physical screening, scheduled to commence in August 2025.

Really? I've not heard anything from one of the stakeholders who actually work there about the quiz. And he told me not to worry about going through the processes since there are different lists I.e. merit list and stakeholders list.

Tinubu appoints board for NIMASA

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new Governing Board for Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).

The appointments, effective from June 24, is pursuant to Section 5 of NIMASA Act, which noted that the board should determine the policy of the agency with regard to the financial, commercial and operational programme.

Among those appointed is Iroghama Ogbeifun, managing Director/chief executive of Starzs Investments Company, and chairman of Technical Committee of Shipowners Association of Nigeria (SOAN). Industry experts see Iroghama’s appointment as a testament to the vision of this administration’s commitment to strengthening institutions, recognising and enlisting individuals of merit and excellence in critical national assignments.

they only take staff on secondment from the military, paramilitary or intelligence agency. They took contract staff but they are silent on permanenting them... the allowances is not bad plus you get to attend training in military facilities.

They just appointed an acting FCC Chairman, he will remove the old Chairman's candidates and put his people. Maybe that is the reason for the delay
