Joao Pedro played 95% of his games for Watford on the wing. Not impressed.

We need a specialist LW and a striker.

We have the best goalie in Ligue 1 returning, the best midfielder in Ligue 1 last year outside PSG returning, and a potential generational talent AM/RW joining up. Alongside Mamadou Sarr, whom I happen to rate higher than Dean Huijsen at CB.

Na striker and LW remain and we have to get it right. Joao Pedro is not a bad player but he isn't a needle mover and his numbers are average.

That's because he's a muti-discipline player. I will still player him as a second 8 in place of Enzo everyday of the week. This does not mean I don't place him as a striker.

You already know my view on striker positions. I don't value ultra 9s more than I do Pedro-type players.
